It was my first time at Bar-B-Que.The atmosphere was great and we had this beautiful young waitress who was very friendly, patient and helpful.The food was great, tasty and, I believe prepped by the owner, also a friendly and interesting chap. With the ribs you get finger bowl with a, seemingly, rose scented rag...so awesome. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a good meal.

Very valuable treasure place in Cape Town. Service is great, food also great. Please make sure u make a phone call before u come over here, they r too busy ^_____^ ribs is recommendation of this place. It is better to eat Chicken and pork schnitzel in the restaurant, the crispy taste is gone for take away.

All I can say if you haven't discovered this gem as yet then go go go! Oh my word we ordered the large schnitzel and shared it. What a feast it was! Irrevocably the finest schnitzel in South Africa guaranteed!

The food was EXCELLENT! That is the place to go when you want value for money! None of us could finish our food! Left overs for 2 days! The owner Marius is the only person preparing the meat, and he still makes time to come and great each party at there table and sit down and have a chat! This is the best restaurant!

It was my friend's first time at the Bar b Que and he was quite surprised with the size of the portions. His steak was excellent done and the ribs are always a winner. Marius also sat with us for a while and I enjoy listening to his stories. One of my favourite places to eat.

My family and I had a lovely time at the restaurant! The portions were really big, for the same prices you pay at other restaurants. And the food was delicious. We all really enjoyed our food, and it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back! Just be sure to make a reservation, they are very popular!
