Dr MP Van Welie

I phoned on the 5th of march 8:00 with a broken tooth the reception very kind and polite said, we are full but come in and wait, I did just that they helped me in minutes of arriving and was excellent the Dr was so cool and calm and very professional and his assistant ,I must say I felt at home and was helped in a rush between patients they are worth the tim and money THANK YOU GUYS you are awesome

My family and I have been patients of Dr Van Wielie for more than 30 years. Dr van Wielie is a very qualified, fantastic dentist. I contacted his rooms today 24 Nov and explained I have an emergency. My back left tooth broke off and is sharp. It is cutting my tounge. I struggle to eat. The recreptionist said that I can only get an appointment for 10th December even if I have pain and discomfort. I had to ask if I can be put on a waiting list which she did. She said if there is no cancellation I must wait for 10 Dec. I think dr Van Wielie should know what service his receptionist is giving to his patients. I phoned a different dentist and got an appointment immediately.

On the 16 Sept 2020 Dr instructed his Receptionest not to allow my wife to leave until an account was settled that was due 4 days later. So my wife 58 years was kept against her will for monies not due. The Dr failed to apologise for his mistake and more so failed to apologise for his unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour for belittling my wife. Sad to see this behavior from a doctor we used for years. We never defaulted on any payment.

Ek het n nood afspraak by DR von Welie vandag gehad.Gekraakte tand en n stopsel wat halfpad uit gebyt is met muesli.WAT n WONDERLIKE tandarts .Ek is so bly ons GP het hom aanbeveel.Dr Mike mag jy nog BAAAIE jare geseën en gespaar bly vir almal wat nog hulle eie tande het .Jy's mag maar..

I booked an appointment one month in advance. I did not receive any confirmation notifications, phone calls or reminders leading up to the appointment. After accidentally missing the appointment I got charged a R450 fee for missing my appointment. I tried to resolve and explain the situation to them however they did not come back to me for a month.Myself and my girlfriends family used to be regular customers, thoroughly disappointed.Equally good dentists available at reasonable prices, do your research.
