Motor did not even do 30km

Shocking feedback, customer service ,motor been there since beginning of Dec, no eta ,no communication nothing ..very bad ..

Worse customer service ever experienced from a guy named Koos. he is rude and swears at customers. Our 2.5 D5d Toyota Engine started using oil after just 1550km. They are full of excuses as to why the problem is not covered by the warranty. We did everything as per book" they required proof and we did send all proof. Will not use them again"

Please improve web design. And and estimate price on motors. At least so customers can get an idea how your pricing is more or less. One thing that is so irritating is to email and ask and wait for comeback and so forth. Sites like this let's one just scroll past and look for places where they actually show you a price list. Not trying to be rude just my advice. Might do good pricing always atrack buyers more

I was quoted for engine rebuild with 2-3 weeks, turn around. I paid 35,000zar upfront, based on this quote. After months of chasing, with them not answering emails or calls, and full of excuses when they do answer. I finally received the engine back after 3 MONTHS. This is just a common ford ecoboost engine, not a Lamborghini. When the garage installed it the engine light came on again. On inspection the timing was set wrong, this required more work and it was evident that some parts had been reused instead of replaced as per Ford procedure. The cars has done 450km and now using water and smoking, not part of the initial problems. Throughout Remtec had show little concern in their client.Don't be fooled by the fancy website

excellent facility with various options to select from for what you want. Decent pricing and excellent warranties. Good service in terms of engine rebuilding as well as Diesel services by seperate department.

After dealing with Remtec previously I recommended them to my son in PE. He has had to contend with a lot of very bad workmanship and very bad service. Remtec do not honour word never mind their warranty. I will never recomend them ever to any of my customers.

Helpfull friendly staff. Charging your pants off with a smile. Delivering a service very few can.

My Ford Ecosport engine was sent to Remtech on 1 Aug 22 and received back 28 Sep. Complete overhaul. 200km later engine starts to leak oil. Remtech is notified through Koos. He advises my mechanic to get quotes from Ford and other mechanics to fix, because my mechanic doesnt have the tools to fix it. They reject the quotes received and tells my mechanic they will rather send him the tools to fix the car. It is now 4 January 2023 and the only tool in sight is me.. Koos is now on leave and nobody else knows anything. Now apart from oil leak, we have oil and water mixing and I dont have transport. This must be the absolute worst service in the business. Disgraceful.
