Joined a Ladies High Tea in the lovely garden under the trees. A beautiful, serene setting to enjoy delectable food and fine wines. Such a treat!

A gratifying experience made even more wonderful by the depth of the challenge of the journey and the reward of the discovery.I wanted to grow more in business and understanding, I would say both conditions were satisfied.I found a clear path and a way forward for things that are important for me as a result.I most enjoyed personal reflection in the carus gardens and one on one time with Matt White.I found the learning model really wonderful (come and visit to find out more)I have absolutely no complaints about the food and venue!As this was my first business retreat I found it quite specialI would definitely recommend this experience in the future I'd like to send a friend as a gift.Thank you Matt & Hugo!

This is not even worth 1 star as the service received was pathetic, I have been contacting the farmhouse for a quotation for a high-tea and 2 weeks later I have not received any feedback, I was told the lady was sick and my sister in law was told they are swamped with work, then we get told we might not be accommodated for 40 guests, the customer service received has not been acceptable as we don't even get responses for emails or calls. never will use their services again, unfortunately I have to rate this as I would not like to see other clients go through the same ordeal. waste of time completely.

Little oasis of solitude in Joburg. Any chance I get to stay here I take. Matt and Hugo are wonderful people and gracious hosts.

Loved my stay at the Carus Gardens! Hugo was a fantastic host, great communication and went above to create a special nights stay. The gardens are beautiful and the suite is well kitted out. A great stay in Joburg!!

I have booked the farmhouse for my baby shower, unfortunately we had to cancel because of the lockdown. The owner had promised to refund me in full. However I have been trying to contact them but they are ignoring my calls and my WhatsApp messages.

We hosted a high tea bridal party for our friend at Carus Gardens and had the most amazing experience. The place is beautiful, the decor and the food were absolutely amazing and the hospitality was out of this world. I'd absolutely love to come back and I'd recommend this place any day.

The owner went out of his way to make our marriage celebration memorable and special during a pandemic. The food catered was absolutely divine! He had a special mini wedding cake made. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful and cozy during our winter stay. I would highly recommend hosting an event and staying over in this amazing gem!

Our second visit to The Farmhouse @ Carus Gardens did not disappoint! Lush, tranquil gardens tucked away in Linden - an absolute hidden gem. We stayed for a week and once again did not want to leave! All of the extra touches were so appreciated. We were delighted to see the resident feline welcome commitee" in the form of Clicquot the cat again. We will definitely be back. Thank you
