Christopher Ramsamy was so helpful! He attended to my Smeg toaster matter so quickly and efficiently. He has a lovely manner and cares about customers. I would recommend him.

Incredible service and overall experience at the Smeg showroom in Strand Street today. Simone was absolutely amazing and efficient with a product related issue/claim, the gentleman in sales (?) offered great technical and product advice while another colleague offered and made me coffee while I waited for some paperwork to be completed. Danika was extremely helpful and generous with her time with another Smeg product enquiry, provided great advice and will be generating a new sale shortly :). I walked in there with mild trepidation and walked out smiling and very impressed…a branch that backs the brand and delivered really fantastic service today.

Arrived at the Smeg showroom in CT this morning, frustrated with my leaking kettle......By 4pm Anna had delivered a new kettle to my door. WOW....Customer service is alive and well at Smeg. This brand certainly deserves their loyal customers!!!

Incredible service, I broke my kettle lid and the handle of the little nod at the back. Emailed them since I didn’t have my receipt and was told to come in and would have to pay a R200 fee. Went in and in about 10-15minutes my kettle was fixed. The staff was as lovely, offered me a drink of my choice and the atmosphere was just amazing. Thank you.

We have been repairing appliances for years and could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied at Smeg spares department in Cape Town. We had to deal with Lorenzo who blatantly refused to help us aquire spares for a major order and as usual this was for a very good customer of theirs. Totally disrespectful attitude and absolutely no etiquette and really below poor customer service standards. We deal with Defy, Samsung, LG and many other brands on a daily basis and not never have we been put on hold for 5 hours. We sent Lorenzo model numbers at 9am and he just never felt like getting back to us, after multiple attempts to get a hold of him and Smeg, 5 hours later they kept on playing hot potato with their phone lines to avoid any sales. We just don't understand why we have to put up with this poor behavior from such a high-end appliance retailer.

Well done to SMEG Cape Town! Honestly one of the best customer service I have experienced! What started off with great disappointment (leaking kettle), I was gearing up to have a battle on my hands to have it replaced. But Danika stepped in and made the process effortless and I walked off with a brand new kettle. Thank you Danika

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new SMEG location at the waterfront. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received.I went to the store to fix my blender, and the staff were incredibly helpful from start to finish.Upon arriving at the store, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me with my blender. They took the time to understand the issue I was experiencing and provided me with a clear explanation of what needed to be done to fix it.They were also able to provide me with valuable advice on how to care for and maintain my blender to prevent future issues.Overall, I would highly recommend SMEG to anyone in need of appliance repair or looking to purchase high-quality appliances. The staff at the waterfront location were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was a positive one. I will definitely be returning to SMEG for all of my future appliance needs.

Superior friendly and efficient service every time. The staff are super helpful and my SMEG kettle was fixed in no time. They even cleaned my kettle for me upon return. The complimentary coffee while I waited was a treat. Very professional and definitely 5 star service.

We went to collect a part for our Smeg oven and the people at the Cape Town store were rude and really not interested in helping us. Yes we may not have had designer clothes on or looked like super models, but decent customer service would have been nice. A friendly welcome and a how can we help would have been nice. Maybe Smeg can employ people who actually want to be there and work there. Or then at least train their staff properly.

After having a problem with the repair of my SMEG Frother, I was contacted by their Johannesburg office and will receive a brand new replacement soon. Such a happy customer. Thank you for responding to my complaint immediately! Happy customer!
