Thursday nights Steve Biko Center comes alive, with there Lady's Night evenings. Good fun great people. down side the bar is always full and it takes a long time to get drinks and also later in the evening their stock runs out :-( . But in general good vibes.

The permanent exhibition at Steve Biko Centre is a very informative and extraordinarily detailled account of Biko's life and work and the Anti-Apartheid struggle. I highly recommend the exhibition to any visitor to South Africa. The Centre also presents inspiring temporary art exhibitions, such as the visual art exhibition curated by Zodwa Skeyi-Tutani, entitled Zundiqondisise - Reclaiming Our Voice" which presents works created by the women of Gompo Arts Centre and Nomzamo Old Age Centre in response to the isiXhosa poetry of Nontsizi Mqwetho from the 1920s. The Centre also screens recent movies and has a beautiful outside space to sit and relax as well as a restaurant and cafe."
