Halfway House Clinic - T.B Unit

On the 18/5/17 I accompanied my spouse to visit the Midrand Clinic of which was not the first, just to mention it for the records.Our first was on the 15/5/17 which was a very short one because we were informed that they took only the first 5 new people for ANTENATAL registrations, so we left.We were encouraged to come early in order to increase our chances of being assisted.So yesterday we got there around 6:03 AM to secure the possibility of an early registration, nevertheless we were the second couple to arrive and waited outside the perimeters up until 7:30 am when they opened.The remarkable service we got from the administration team in the morning was tarnished when we waited in the queues up until 12:05 PMAfter 13:00 PM or so I decided to walk in the Operation Manager's office and spoke to a Ms. Maria Matsane about the service that's questionable.She couldn't believe that after 13:00 we were still at the clinic when I informed her that we were there before they even opened up. She went to enquire with the nurse about the holdup...Apparently nurse Deliwe Moshoette's explanation was that she had given preference to patients who were there for a follow up in order to speed up the queue. Another factor was that she was the only nurse available to assist and was dealing with different patient’s problems that needed ample time.The manager's tune changed too as I assumed she was trying to cover up for her staff... Maria said that the first visits take longer" hence the nurse opted a different approach.Due to that they had changed their strategy before as there was another patient who had a similar issue and so they had to prioritize new registrations and apologized for the inconvenience.Well by me questioning the processes it seemed to prolong each and every consultation prior to Ms. M. Ramorwalo's turn to consult...These took over 45 minutes or soTo our dismay she went in for her consultation at 14:50 PM and got out at 15:10 PM and that was it for her session.If that's the time frame why couldn't she help the only 3 people who had come through for their first visit registrations.I believe she had done so because of me reporting her

the clinic is clean, the nurses are friendly. i went there for my first antenatal visit:) the professionalism, the friendliness of the nurses is out of government clinics.best service ever!!!!!! reminds me of Soweto

The greatest service ever, the nurses and staff treat everyone equal and i wish they carry on like that we need more people who are so professional like them...

The clinic dsnt have people who will tell you where to go for help.After my daughter stayed there for two hours only to find she is at the wrong que,by the time she was taken to the right que,the nurse shouted at her telling her she was late and she will serve her after others,she then went to lunch came back helped other people who were behind,by the time she allowed her in she took less than 5 minutes,injected her without even telling her what's that for ....Sister Nomhle think she is God...

What bed service from the staff people are sick no one is giving us attention since 8am till 14.00pm with no help only one sister Pink is working and one Dr. The rest of the stuff they just walking around talking not paying attention to the paciants one old man is very sick so help less wth his wife she's even crying still no one is helping them this is bed I wish this can be seen by the management and do something about it

There is a housing strike in diepsloot ext1. The main road is closed with Skipy dust bins and stones. SAPS is around monitoring the situation but only 4 police men with two vans

This place its an great emergency place with nurses and doctors that are having love for the patience's all the time they always after them when they need help

At the counter there are 3/4 receptionists but only one person working and they tend to waste more time chatting and moving around the clinic and some are busy on their phones while we wait for hours before receiving assistance both from the reception and nurses. I came in to collect my pills, no check ups to be done or anything like that but I waited for hours. Can we please get assistance in time, we have other priorities and can't come to spend the entire morning just to collect pills. (20/09/2021)
