The Shark Bay Hotel & Spa

Top class Spa with a top class viewpoint. Price tag is a bit out of reach thou for the ordinary person. Would have loved to stay for a night or 2 as the Location is tops.

We had an incredible stay! The views were surreal and the room was very spacious with beautiful decor. The pool was large and the beachfront was wonderful! We met the chef one night and she offered to make us an off menu dish with fresh local ingredients and it was absolutely amazing! Would recommend for sure!

Gorgeous! Beautiful! Spectacular!Rooms were modern and to an extremely luxurious standard.All the staff have been very friendly and looked after us to a standard beyond my expectations.Food was second to none, every meal in the restaurant perfect.

The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of Langebaan. It overlooks the sea which is amazing. We had the luxury of being in one of the sea facing rooms. Loved it.We also got to eat at their restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was underwhelming. Would recommend they improve on that.Overall I would recommend a stay there and also to check out the town for restaurant options.

I visited The Shark Bay Hotel with my girl for my birthday weekend. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is perfect, the view from our hotel room was priceless. The bed was very comfortable.A couple of things to take note, the room we had didn’t have an air conditioning, since we visited during winter, they had placed a small fan heater in the room. Our room’s bathroom didn’t have any windows however there was a small ventilator. The only issue with the ventilator is that it only works when there is a person in the bathroom using sensors. So after a hot shower the steam builds up and the bathroom becomes stuffy. Only the lights and wifi work during load shedding. Also during load shedding the restaurant menu becomes a bit limited as they cannot prepare deep fried food.The parking space is outside but it appears to be a very safe area.

Great views and the decor is stunning…haven’t stayed in the rooms but staff were friendly and if the hotel decor is reflected by the lobby I would expect nothing but perfection…

We had lunch at the restaurant. The steak was very nice. Most of is the the table were happy. The only down sides were: they didn’t have the sirloin two people at our table ordered and only told us after 30 minutes they don’t have due to busy service the previous day. This is not acceptable. Poor planning and the waitress should tell you at the start of order they don’t have items on menu. The tea order also they should make your tea already in a pot. Not bring boiling water that taste like mud and one teabag, to make your tea. Other thing is the toilet facilities. Men and woman and kids to the same toilet is a bit weird. Menu limited and food expensive. Other than that it’s a very nice setting. Staff very friendly. Decor beautiful.. just some tweaking here and there.

Two nights at Shark Bay Hotel in Langebaan was all we needed, we had a wonderful time.The rooms are beautifully decorated with the most amazing view.The service and food was fantastic.Andile in the spa made my stay even more memorable with a two hour pamper.We will be back

The reception was great and the staff is great too. The food is amazing and the chef was amazing too. The room was big enough and the bed was very comfortable. One of the windows did not have a block out curtain that was unpleasant in the morning being woken up by the outside light. The WiFi and cellphone signal is very spotty and around the hotel areas at some points there is zero cellphone signal. The location of the hotel is picturesque and definately worth the buck paid for.
