Dis-Chem Pharmacy Cape Gate - Brackenfell

What a disaster. All the times when I have made use of the clinic, I never wait less than an hour. Whether I have an appointment or not So I might as well go to a public clinic where I get helped faster and friendlier. The nurse that was on duty today 9 November 2022 finally came out after more than an hour and asked me why I am moaning. I could not believe that a professional person would ask a customer this. There was about 3 more customers waiting and one lady asked me what is going on. I simply explained to her that there has been no one for almost two hours. The nurse then asked me if i am moaning. What a shock.Furthermore, they do not consider your privacy, as they ask you loudly in front of the whole store what you are there for. What if it was something private like for instance an HIV test? Must you say this in front of everyone? Very unprofessional. I have supported Dis-Chem for years and this is now the end. The call centre has the same attitude. I left the store and decided to rather call for an appointment. The call centre consultant argued with me for about 15 minutes and told me that there is a nurse. The more I tried to explain to her that I was just in store and there is no one and that I would rather want to make a booking, the more she argues with me and does not make an appointment. This place is a disaster waiting to happen..

Made an wellness baby appointment for a 10 week vaccination. Our appointment was at 3:30 29/10/22 and we were only helped at 4pm. The two nurses on duty were busy having an disagreement in our consultation infront of us. I was completely shocked that professionals in healthcare were doing that in our appointment. She made notes that we were there for our 6 week appointment and i had to correct her. She (nurse with blondish hair) than become judgmental when i told her i am not exclusively breastfeeding and im using formula as well. Finally she did not ask us to undress our baby to be weighed. I would much rather continue using stork nest at netcare where we received beter service without people arguing infront of us and the nurses are more attentive and caring.

Most assistants would have given us the item we are looking for and walked away, however you took your time explaining the mechanics and trouble shooting of the product. Thank you for taking us through it step by step and ensuring that we understood the product. Thank you for not recommending the most expensive product on the shelf. Thank you for knowing your facts about all the breast pumps that were on the shelf and explain to us why the specific product we chose would be most beneficial to us and according to what we were looking for. Thank you for your wonderful customer care/focus. The energy that you and your colleague gave us while assisting us(not getting frustrated or even a little irritated ) is unmatched. After nearly 2 years of getting my meds here I took my scripts and ran away from this place today . For the last 3 months, they had some issue every single time, causing me to wait 45 minutes minimum at a time for them to sort out their issues. All I wanted was to get my meds, go home, take it and feel better, but the complete incompetence of these people goes beyond words. Very disappointing that such terrible service still exist..Stay away, you have been warned

Called and asked if the sister was in, and I was told yes. When i went in, I was told to come back later because the sisters were out on lunchi went there again on Saturday, the 22nd . The 2 ladies that helped me were extremely nice and didnt hesitate to help me.

When I asked the gentleman working in the supplement section where I can find a nutritech product, he abruptly advised they don't sell that brand before I could even finish my sentence and walked off.This isn't a huge issue, I understand,but perhaps the staff should be trained to be a little nicer, and hear the customer out and they could then in turn recommend the product in a brand you stock (this I called customer service) But instead I went to clicks and they were much nicer.

Online shopping: UTTER FAIL.They can't get your address right, then they can't phone you, then the address is not 'google varifiable'. OMW, the excuses!! But every other courier in the country can deliver to your address, in time and on time. Dischem Cape Gate??????

Really terrible experience here with the horrible Bionike Sales Lady. I told her multiple times I did not need help and she kept following me up multiple aisles and hassling me about bionike products. I kept telling her I wasn’t interested and she kept trying to force her products on me. I won’t be coming back, absolutely terrible.

Shelves well stocked. Dispensary queue moves well. Courteous staff. It is an added bonus that I can earn and redeem UCount points at Dis-Chem!
