Dis-Chem Pharmacy Cornubia - Umhlanga

It was a pleasant experience. The store was very well organized and clean. Dischem currently has a lot of 2+1 specials currently going on. The staff is friendly and helpful. I managed to get most of what I wanted so definitely pay them a visit.

Their dispensary staff may be friendly but they clearly don't know about service excellence. I waited in the que 45 minutes, they wil have10 tills in the store but only have 2 open during the month end, no vision.. very disappointing!

Visited the cornubia dischem dispensary yesterday, I was at the dispensary script queue at 10:42am and only left there around 11:20 am, there was only 3 patients in front of my wife and I, the old pharmacist on duty spent more time talking about soccer than pushing the queue out, then there was a new assistant that was going in circles and no one to help him out, state pharmacies are much quicker than these guys, please get more staff especially at month end weekends

Skin Strategy Hair and Nail Bar Cornubia are a like snakes waiting to catch you out. They had a special on for highlights which apparently only applied if you had a full head of highlights. Nobody bothered to tell me that I would the charged more for less when I unknowingly said that I was happy with half a head of highlights. So, instead of charging R900 for a full head, cut and blow it cost R1185 for half a head!! Absolutely disgusting lack of client service! The least I expected from the hairdesser was to tell me that the highlight special would not apply. I will never go back and will never recommend them to anyone in my world. Well done Dischem, you scored R285 and lost 4 customers immediately. A lovely treat turned sour thanks to a hairdresser who thinks it is ok to treat clients with disdain.

My sister purchased a GHD max from the online store around December 2022, it stopped working recently, she contacted the dischem customer care centre, they advised her to take the GHD to the nearest dischem store. today we went to the cornubia branch, i dealt with Preston the store manager, he advised that they can't help me when anything. and i must contact GHD or take the faulty unit to them for assessment, i asked him if they can contact them on our behalf, he advised that faulty units got nothing to do with Dischem and its the customers responsibility to make contact to GHD. We purchased this hair straighter from Dischem and now we must run around to try and get it fix? so all appliances that we buy from here, when it gets faulty we must run around contacting the brand repairs?, thats nonsense, dischem is going down hill, i hope this review reaches many so they can see how you have to run around when appliances goes faulty...

Worst Dischem store. Slow and under staff everytime and unfriendly staff. Rather go to the La Lucia Branch.

This review is for amazing online delivery service. Placed an order online Saturday morning a couple of minutes before 10am only expecting delivery mid week. To my amazement the very pleasant driver from Dischem Cornubia arrived by 2pm same day with my order! Talk about wow service really outdoing not just competitors but other Dischem branches. Well done to the management of Cornubia branch. I haven't figured out yet how to insist that all our online deliveries in future be filled by this branch...

Nice store - Pity about the service, particularly the Dischem Delivery App. What a shambles. The system ALWAYS shows products as available when they aren't. Be warned if you order several items, they could end up delivering a R10 product and you will pay R45 for it with delivery charges(because the others aren't available and because their inventory does not update on the system). I've even received a delivery and they've told me products are out of stock - so I immediately went to the store and found the product, readily available, on the shelves. Dischem delivery is a disgrace and despite assurances that they are constantly improving, nothing happens.

I find this branch of Dis Chem to be spacious and less claustrophobic than there other nearby branched. With plenty of space between the alise and a well stocked store. Helpful attendants. It can get busy on Wednesday, weekend and Monthend but they do have plenty of cashiers so you do not wait to long to pay. The pharmacy is made up of two parts one for prescription meds and the other for self meds, this reduces the time spent waiting in line. Plenty of parking and conveniently located. Recommend.
