Not one to call people out publicly, but I am so enraged with anger that I’m happy to do this if it means something will be done. Will be happy to remove once action is taken to sort it out.A few months ago pictures of myself and my family were featured on a TV series episode along with misinformation about us.After contacting the production company I was put in touch with the produce and explained that there were images of us and that no release forms were signed and how disappointed I was that such little to no research was done on the stories being featured - I was assured that, although after they handled the situation terribly and me sharing I had a protection order against the person they featured my pictures alongside, that they would remove the pictures in the video if there was ever a rebroadcast.No apology, no responsibility taken - the first rule I learnt as a production assistant was how important Release Form Agreements are - and to hear a company is featuring who and what they want without release agreements in place is extremely dangerous.I let it go to a point.This morning I see the series and episode is on Showmax with the pictures still in and misinformation still being featured.After contacting the producer and explaining I will be contacting Showmax to get this episode removed and will be taking legal action if this isn’t rectified I’ve again recieved a response that I do not think is okay in any way. I deserve a written apology as well as the episode to be removed.Production company is listed as VIA TV but the producer all communication has been with is from Media Club Productions.In no way is it okay to share someone’s pictures and misinformation about them, and in NO WAY is it okay to be as rude as this producer has been when being called out for their mistakes especially when you are featuring me next to someone I have a protection order against.I sent over 4 different emails mentioning the series name, episode and individuals featured and was met with responses like ‘not too sure what you are talking about’ instead of them urgently taking action to rectify this. I also had to physically watch the episode to screenshot the images as they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about after explaining them in great detail.I want the images of my family and I removed from the series.- I have contacted Showmax and am waiting for a reply. I trust that they will sort it asap.- I am done communicating with the producer until a formal apology is given.- I am hoping that Via TV handles this appropriately.
