Beautiful place. Definitely the new home for the are's ladies, mens and marriage camps. Perfect for small and large functions. The venue have small and large conference centers as well as small group accommodation. Tranquil next to a calming river and beautiful scenery. Beautiful for wedding photos.

Very nice place

I will start off by saying that the grounds are beautifully but not properly maintained. The check in was mess as I had to phone the host and wait for them to come because there was no one in the reception. You can also only check in up to 4 in the afternoon.So we stayed in a chalet and the room is very dated and has brown patterned bedding, at R1000 per night the least you would want is white bedding.There was a kettle in the room but the plug does not reach the socket and there is no mugs, spoons, coffee or sugar in the room. The fridge was not even plugged in.The duvet covers were both torn on the seams.There is an old box tv that does not work.There was also bats at night in the room.The room had 2 single beds, that is fine, my wife and I decided to move them together but this also proved to be a problem as the beds were on bricks.The reason we were here was for a wedding. The food was lovely but the serving staff are clueless they dish for you and they think it is acceptable to dish the same portion for every guest. So a 10 year old and a 30 year old man that is 1.95m tall get the same portion of food. When I asked if I may have a second portion from the buffet I was told no other people still have to dish I accepted that as it is fair, but the next moment the lady, Marie, started dishing food from the buffet for the staff...The bar for the wedding was cerry poorly stocked they only had one bottle of red wine.The breakfast was very good and the chef knows what se is doing!But overall it would have been better to stay at a guesthouse or hotel in town.

WOW What a beautiful place next to the mighty Olifants River.NEW MANAGEMENT!! Bring your family, bring your tent, bring your rods!! A lot of fish in the river! Great place for conferences and weddings or just a weekend away! Book your chalet today!

We've been camping here sins mid January will be leaving April. A lovely place just to be for the day or weekend. Fishing is very good. Will be sad to leave.
