I traveled with my husband and step daughter. Staying with Gavin at the House on York was one of the highlights of our trip. The place is beautiful, spacious, clean and has everything you need. We loved it so much we ended up staying there again when we came back through Joburg. Gavin was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us decide on activities saving us hundreds of dollars and we had better experiences based upon his recommendations. The managers were very nice Tito was specifically very friendly and attentive. We felt spoiled staying at this wonderful place, I'll be recommending it to everyone I know who visits.

We really enjoyed our stay. We found the rooms fresh and crispy and the staff so friendly and accommodating. We can strongly recommend this professional establishment, which we found was like home from home.

I had a great time staying here. The owner Gavin is very friendly and hospitable and the staff are great. There's lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the neighborhood is very convenient to get around. One small hiccup was with the remote-controlled gate to the house which is disabled late at night, and this wasn't explained at check-in, so make sure to ask.

We needed a pet friendly place to stay at short notice. Gavin really stepped up and helped us. I highly recommend his facilities. Really friendly staff and a welcome break from this crazy world.

What a beautiful establishment.The room was so beautiful, above our expectations with 4 poster bed and Jet shower.The staff were so hands on and helpful.There were also so many facilities, pool table, gym, sauna and even a nail bar!Not to mention the garden with hammocks in a lovely chill spot.I found it to be safe and also closely located to Eastgate as well as in walking distance from viby restaurants like Rusty Lady, & Cut and Craft.Highly recommended.

Area is very safe, conveniently close to shops and malls. The staff were very welcoming. The bedroom were very nice with lots of extras, exceptional! Beautiful gardens on the property. Many additional facilities. I would definitely recommend!!

This is our third time coming to the facility. Indeed the place is very safe and secure. The rooms very well furnished and decent. The staff like Barnabas, Tino and Christine very friendly and warm( quick to respond to our needs).As am writing this review now.....am relaxing on the most comfortable bed in one of the units. Continue the good work guys.....I personally salute you.
