Absolutely superb service! We went there twice and a week apart. The service was amazing. We were blessed with the same waiter who was extremely friendly and professional. Our entire dining experience was lovely. This is proper fine dining.

Had a nice two course meal here. Suggest trying the bone marrow and Halloumi for appetizer. Nice fresh bread provided when you sit. Had the fillet on bone and a striploin for mains with four sides, good value and good sized portions, felt it was all a bit bland. Service was excellent. Don't think its a 4.6 rating, more like a 4.

Really fantastic experience!Had the T-Bone steak which was cooked exactly as I ordered it! The roast veg was also very good.Our food came extremely fast, and the service was phenomenal.Highly recommended to anyone!

I loved this restaurant. We went there for a 21st birthday party. They have great private spaces and we had a room for 18 people. The service was amazing. They were so patient with our group, making sure everyone got what they wanted. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is smart but not too formal. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a place to eat and to have a special celebration.

Probably my favorite statehouse in the world and definitely my favorite in Joburg, everything about this place is perfect,Food quality: 5 starsIt wasn’t my first visit but I decided this time to try something new so I took the signature fillet on the bone and it was cooked to perfection and the quality of the meat itself was excellent. Had a side of Mac and Cheese and a brownie with ice cream for desert, both were very nice.Drinks: 5 starsThey have a great selection of fine whiskies that it was hard to decide but I went for the macallan 15 yrs (which can’t go wrong), also great selection of wineService: 5 starsEveryone was incredibly friendly and serving with a smile, from the lady on the door who was happy to accommodate me without reservations, to the waiter who gave me recommendations and kept coming back to check if everything was ok, also the manager who came to check if everything is to my likingAmbiance: 5 starsLove the decoration, the table setup was good and despite the place being packed, you didn’t really feel it.In summary, the place is a must try if you’re ever in Joburg
