The amenities here are very good and the rooms are gorgeous. A few caveats.:thethe food at the restaurant was tasty but not good enough to warrant the exorbitant pricing. The cultivated grounds" at the back of the lodge appear to be a cultivation of blackjack a. Perhaps some good advice would be to try and get some indigenous plants to grow. The staff are all very attentive."

I flew a VIP guest into the lodge to celebrate his wife's birthday on a helicopter, I requested non alcoholic Champaign and a birthday cake several times on email, the client was not impressed as they didn't have anything that we had organized in advance, he went on to say that the service was poor and the food wasn't great ether. This has also put my business (Titanium Air) into bad light as we organized this for our client. I sent a complaint email to the management a few weeks ago and still today, I haven't even received acknowledgment of my email. We have decided not to make use of this venue going forward and are now looking at alternative venues and have been discussing it with our partner aviation companies as well.

Birthday celebration dinner , had asked for table to be set in a specific way-didn't happen. Wish the food matched the rating of the establishment. I do appreciate that the chef was able to make a vegan cake which was delicious. Didn't sleep there

Below average!5 star price, 2 star service. Won’t ever be going back there.Arrived there last night(8th Oct ‘22). There was a wedding on that no one told us about. The Managers, chef’s, bartenders and waiters were all more interested in the wedding than their paying guests, who were paying for a 5 star experience. The wedding was using all their plates, spoons, bowls and glassware.We did complain and they they didn’t seem to interested in our complaints.

This place has the makings of an excellent venue. Just let down severely by the food; took over four hours to serve a three course meal that was nothing but disappointing.

Awesome weekend getaway. Only an hour from Jo’burg, feels like a million miles from the city

Went for an event didn't sleep over there beautiful view from the dining and has a great ambience

Beautiful country setting, excellent accommodation, food and service. Highly recommend.
