My calamari and chips from Claremont branch looked like someone's left overs. Hardly had any calamari and the chips were terrible.

Four pieces hake, chips and rolls. Best part of the meal - the rolls. Old, really old hake fried in old oil, chips dark brown because of old oil. Never go there again.

Portions are not overly generous by comparison to traditional Portuguese fish and chips outlets and more pricey. But the taste is good. The opening hours are convenient. Just about the only place you can catch open for a late meal down Rosmead

After a tiring morning at the park across the road it was so good to relax at snoekies, the place is really clean and calm. Service was great. The food was fresh and tasted lovely. It was relaxing and felt comfortable. My hubby also bought bait while waiting on our food so we killed two birds with one stone. Saved us the trouble of driving around somewhere else in this heat looking for bait.

I had their snoek and calamari. Their fish was prepared quite well and the calamari was soft, but their meal was definitely underseasoned. Their prices also don't really make it easy to grab a quick lunch meal. But I would probably give it another try if I was ever in the area.

Would have been a 5/5 but I've noticed the chips portions getting smaller and smaller. I order the hake and snoek combo which usually lasts my wife and I two meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch when it was R145 a pop). Lately we only get Friday dinner out of it , and it went up to R160 a pop.

Great quality and fast food service. Expect your fish and chips to be hot and crisp, flavours are spot on of not too much spice in batter and definitely food are not one bit too oily! Manager is super friendly as well. Great selection of quality frozen seafood infront!

The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we ordered the hake calamari and chips and the food was divine! The store was also very clean and everything on its place. Would definitely visit again
