The most horrible experience ordering from here;> I ordered two separate items but both were put together in one container; no consideration that people can be allergic to certain things!> The staff have such horrible attitude and are not friendly at all.>The size of the pieces are a bit too small.>The taste was not as good either.

I've ordered via whatsapp and went to the store to pick up, spoke to the sushi chef and from the get go, she spoke to me with attitude. I sat to wait for my order to be prepared and noticed that there was a lack of hygiene in the preparation process.The sushi chef had gloves on - touched the cash register, card machine and even accepted a delivery. Without changing her gloves, she continued making sushi. I asked her to change her gloves before making my order, she used a ditty cloth and wiped her gloves. I've asked her again, and she insisted she did change it but she will go to the back and get a new set. When she returned, she spoke to another customer in Zulu, asking if she would also like her to change her gloves before preparing her order. She laughed and continued with my order. Besides the gloves, she did not have a face mask on either. I understand that not everyone opts to wear a mask now, but if you're gonna be having conversations with people while making food - wear a mask.

Takashi sushi is incredibly tasty but I have to admit with time they seem to be shrinking. Compared to the size of individual pieces previously, my recent experiences have definitely seen a shrink in the size of individual pieces. I was quiet surprised when my recent standing order saw me pick up one polystyrene take away container whereas in the past I would pick two full containers of the same size . I still continue to buy from them based on convenience and taste but the buy one get one free is really a scam. Comparatively two combined pieces of Takashi is still small than the average single piece from other some sushi outlets.

Not sure what happened to this place. When they first opened their sushi was really good and was good sizes as well but now they've reduced the sizes of their pieces by a lot, their fish is definitely not fresh, and they put way too much sauce on these small pieces of sushi that it's sickening, I almost threw up trying to eat their sushi! Do not recommend.

The place has two workers and when we got to the place to order the lady taking the order tells us that we have to wait 40 minutes for our 20 piece sushi platter, due to them having to prepare a R1000 worth order. I would not recommend service and attitude of the employees are ridiculous.

I dont give negative reviews in a hurry only if really needed for others to be aware of, We have bought from here a good few years back and we bought again coz our normal place was out of stock on a few raw ingredients and let me tell you something the quality has not changed, we just remembered why we don't buy from here, long story short the best thing served is the Ginger No Jokes!Everyone's taste buds are different after all, that been said the portion sizes are small compared to other places and the ingredients are definitely not fresh - personally I have nothing against this place but it's disappointing that I had to give such a terrible review

The actual size of the sushi pieces are comparable to the ones at John Dory's, if not a little smaller. The buy one
