I have sought the services of this place twice. Today and about 1 year ago. To say the customer service is poor is an understatement. Norman seems to have disdain towards helping and being of service. Whether or not its because I am a woman I am not sure, however I recognize this dismissive and often trying to upsell service from other experiences with males in this industry. I am actually grateful for the poor conduct as it acts as a barrier to enter further into a situation.The reason I thought it would be a good place to go for my car, is from what I have seen, the workshop is always busy. However because its busy already, it makes sense in that he isn't trying to gain more clients or offer competitive service to gain any edge in his business. He seems to be ticking over nicely with his current clientele, so if you are looking for a car battery or electrical guy who really cares about your cars running, about you as a valued client and about not ripping you off of your hard earned cash, this is probably not the place.

This service Centre has one of the rudest owners I’ve ever encountered. From the outset he has been rude and aggressive toward me. Please note I’ve taken my car there for numerous repairs including changing a clutch that cost many many thousands, other repairs and services. Just before covert19 lockdown I had my front brakes repaired there with my disks and pads being replaced at quite a price. Just prior to lockdown I went in to advise them that my breaks were grinding. They told me to bring it in so they could listen to it but the lockdown happened days after this and as I’m an estate agency owner I needed my vehicle to finalize deals urgently. Two weeks ago I saw they were open and went there and I was booked in for Monday last week. I forgot that I had the booking it was just simply an error I am extremely hectic trying to save my business and it went out of my mind totally. I’m at fault and for that I’m deeply sorry. I then asked the other owner to please book me for last Wednesday and to call me to confirm I could bring the car in. Again I forgot making this an unacceptable error. I called the second owner and profusely apologized for my double error. I booked my car in again for today and called early at 7am to see if they could bring me back and if it’s ok to bring the car in. He advised I come in after 8am. So I accordingly did so. Now look I’m aware I’m in the wrong but on arrival this aggressive owner immediately jumped up and strutted toward me quite aggressively and with intimidation toward me and started shouting at me and pointing his finger at me and told me the next F’ng time I book my car in I must call them if I can’t make it and that who do I think I am! I was rather horrified and asked him who he was speaking to like this! I was then further verbally abused and told that I better bla bla. I’m telling him I’m not his child to shout at I’m a client he again rather than calming down insulated and shouted at me and told me I woukd not like it of clients did not come to a viewing! I told him to stop speaking to me like this and that we often have people not pitch for a viewing but that I would never treat them like this and I would handle it with respect and lock them into another viewing in a calm way. Again he attacked me and told me he has had a problem with me from the beginning! Why ? Because I’m gay? My thinking is that they simply did not want to repair the mess they made with my brakes and did not want to have costs for doing the honorable thing. I took the second owner for a ride to hear the breaks but he too started getting rude and defensive rather than calming the situation down so I told him to get out of my car and drove away! If you mess up fix it don’t take on your client and get aggressive especially when it’s your bad workmanship in the first place and the client is apologizing for the error of not cancelling and missing the appointments! I know it’s rude and it’s frustrating but one just simply does not treat clients like this especially when it’s your company that has seemingly done a poor job and the client is asking it be fixed it then seems like an issue is being created to get out of fixing the poor job done in the first place! I’ll never take my car there again and certainly will never recommend them to anyone.

Owner is a straight shooter from the hip type of guy! Refreshing and tells it like it is!! I have never had a problem with his work!

Excellent service. I got my car back on the same day. Driving as good as new. You can get a booking in 2 to 3 days.

Took my car to this workshop for a electrical problem . Some items were replaced but when the same symptoms where displayed Car Care was quick to say it was not Thier fault and that they had fixed the issue . Be careful of these people , quick to take your money.

Excellent service

My car taken in to rectify loss of pressure in one of the cylinders. Car not smoking on taking in. Pistons replaced, car returned smoking, repeatedly breaking down because oil build up on spark plugs, car gusling oil. Car taken back 3 times and 3 times the problem glossed over, even though the mechanics knew exactly what the problem was. Just kept recharging but problem getting worse. Close to R20000 spent and problem not sorted out through lack of interest. I've since taken my car to another mechanic and problem solved. My question: They knew what the problem was but refused to address it or acknowledge their wrong call in the first place. Lost a good client who had used them for years . What happened? Greed get the better of you?

My car battery died. I was immediately attended to and the battery and alternator checked first!The battery had passed expiry. They had the correct Willard and installed it for me immediately. Very professional service.Willard is not the cheapest, but still the best technology we have in SA still.
