I Love Waffles - Quayside

This is the place... fresh crisp and delicious Waffles. Our favourite is traditional with chocolate ice cream. I cannot tell you how delicious, I am laughing as my saliva glands and beginning to work overtime just writing and reviewing my pics from our visit on Saturday morning.

I had my grand kids with me. A 2 yr old and 5 yr old. We were three adults. They were almost closing and we were served very well. Cleanliness 10/10. Service 10/10.. and food and preparation 10/10. Quality and taste - the best waffles I have had in a long time. Thank you for making our experience and out special after a horrible experience we had at a restaurant nearby. Well done.

Honest and real review is what shall follow.Although it was not open for a few days as per their signs, when they did open we treated ourselves to some gourmet waffles for lunch while on honeymoon. Incredibly clean inside, though outside in the kiddies play area (Which is closed due to coviid) we saw a high chair with some old waffles bit and toppings on it. However, this did not deter us from enjoying some sugar packed and deliciously sweet waffles. My wife had a Nutella and Brownie half and half combo and I had a Honeycomb crunch. I could not finish my large portion served with amazing chocolate ice cream but I did smash it when I got back to my room for midnight snacks!The service was a bit slow in terms of getting drinks and food but in fairness, there was only one chef and one server and I think they did really well in terms of managing everyone's expectations. I only wish there was a branch in JHB so my wife would stop reminiscing on the pleasure she experience when devouring, in one sitting I might add, her wonderful waffles!

We were served a very rubbery, burnt tasting waffle just after loadshedding finished. I am assuming that they were left over from before the power cut and were just warmed up. Honestly they were the most horrible waffles I have had in years. The person serving us, to his credit, was genuinely apologetic and offered replacements but my appetite was gone. Sorry, guys, you'll have to do better.

A really great spot to just sit down and enjoy an afternoon treat or even an early morning sarmie. The place has a nice relaxing vibe & is very affordable. Will definitely be returning to try more of their drinks & waffle flavors.

Great waffle based meals, both sweet and savoury versions. Waffles can be ordered with different flavours such as original, Bar One or peppermint crisp with different syroup flavours and vanilla or chocolate ice cream or cream, or combinations thereof. Fast service. Reasonable prices.

Decent waffles and pancakes, would expect slightly more from a waffle place. Coffees were okay.

I absolutely love this place!! Between my fiancé and I we've literally tired every waffle on the menu and you can't go wrong. Excellent service always, excellent waffles, excellent milkshakes. Will recommend to everyone
