Excellent Thai menu and service at very reasonable prices. In the Steenberg shopping complex near Tokai. Super massive Thai green chicken curry for R78!! Mar 1 2023.

Our food was delicious. We were there for about an hour and a half. In that time, no less that 40 Ubereats/Mr D drivers walked in through the restaurant to collect takeaways, from the counter inside, which is anything but relaxing. Further to that the takeaways get more attention than the in restaurant diners. They need to sort out some kind of collection system at the door, like most restaurants do. We won’t go back until that is sorted out.

I give Allen and his Team 5 stars!! I ordered the 38 piece platter via Mr D and they delivered a 24 piece platter that was flipped upside down and completely messed up. I called up the restaurant to complain and Allen was so polite and friendly and offered to give us a 38 piece platter on the house. Impeccable service and I would highly recommend them. Thanks Allen

Tried out Rock Sushi Thai(Meadowridge) for the first time on 14 Feb 22. Arrived at 19.20pm. Our food only came out 20.30! There were only two tables next to us and both of them got their food and drink way before us. I walked out at one point and we were so hungry and frustrated when our food finally came. I would have understood if there was a mad rush but only 2-3 tables besides ours. They were very busy up/down with online orders that completely took focus off the guests that were actually in the restaurant. Not once did the manager come over to check on us for almost an hour seeing we were waiting so long! We had to ask a few times where our order was! Definitely won’t come back. Bad management and lack of customer service. After all that inconvenience we were still billed for our entire meal. Our evening was ruined. We have never ever waited so long for a meal considering the restaurant was empty. They tried to give an explanation but that wasn’t good enough. Very unhappy customers.

Gosh! It was noisy! Sushi was good, service was lacking a bit, staff looked quite stretched and our order took a while. Then their coffee machine was not working!

My first visit. Friendly staff, nice and Cosy place. Enjoyed all my meals. Will definitely be visiting again. Great Menu with lots of options.

Taste was great, but the service substandard. So be prepared and have a lot of patience.... According to the waiter, the manager does not even speak English, therefore he was not available to chat to his guests!

First time visiting Rock Thai Sushi and let me say that it was an amazing experience. Sushi was flavourful and perfectly presented. Also saw they have some great weekly specials. Definitely a spot for a cheeky date too. I didn’t sit down but will make sure to do so next time. Crunch rolls for the win!Update: went back to order on 27 December 2021. Was informed of their Buy 1 Get 1 Free specials. Ordered based on that and when I collected there were no free meals in addition to those purchased. My rating reflects the service and not the sushi. I always tip generously despite ordering takeaway and this just left me feeling otherwise.
