Awesome atmosphere. Small, cosy and intimate. Great food. The live band was really great. They definitely need aircon though because when the curtains are closed while the band plays it can get very hot and stuffy. Also the drinks menu was a bit limited for my taste but the vibe and music makes up for it. A great evening.

The Blue Room
Heavily overpriced, everyone was seated on top of each other, very small space. We were seated infront of a curtain that separated us from 2 toilets. The food was average and not worth the price at all. The sound was bad. The artist advertised on social media and website was not the same as the artist who performed. We were charged a cover charge of R200 a person for the band yet people walked in and sat by the bar to watch and were not charged anything. The band was ok but not jazz at all, more of a blue band. The price of wine was exorbitant. Would not go back or recommend.

An beautiful experience during restaurant week. The food tasted incredible and the music was very nice entertainment. Important to note that the portions are really small, we had starters a middle course and main course and went out afterwards again for food to be full. So if you go here go for tasty food and a great experience

Vibey and intimate jazz bar situated in bree street. We went for a drink after dinner. And all thoroughly enjoyed the music, the venue and the service. The vibe of the place is focused around the music, so don’t expect to chat while the music is playing. Rather sit back and enjoy the performance. The wine list is varied, and eclectic so don’t expect to find your usual fare. Instead enjoy something a bit different.

Not recommended.1. My bill was for was for Zar 1.830.00. The day after I note that my card was charged for more than Zar 2.550.00.2. Food is very bad. In addition, the food is provided by a restaurant close to this venue. Your food is traveling on the street by the waitress before go to your table.3. The jazz show is just 3 presentations of 15 to 20 minutes each. You can go to other places where the jazz group is doing presentations at least 4 hours.4. The place is uncomfortable. Very small. Chairs and tables very uncomfortable too.5. In general, the service is too bad too.The worst experience in Cape Town.

Beautiful venue with tasty and creative upmarket food and some of the best jazz Cape Town has to offer. The sound is incredible and the music curation is truly the best one can find

unjustified price tag for food. takeaway food is very small, like a michelin restaurant and the price is the same too. please comrades who play beautiful music, but they also need to pay R200. this small cafe cannot be called a restaurant, and we left the amount there as if we had gone to a real expensive restaurant. The staff works well, you can't even complain. But I won't come back here again.

Lovely jazz and location, but very slow service. At one stage, we started to clean our table by ourselves as the waiters just didn’t show up to remove dirty dishes and used glasses. The staff had also no clue what wines were on offer or how to pour them. For high priced wines a no-go. After having received very poor service you are forced to pay 12% gratuity as this is added to the bill. All in all not worth the high price you pay.

Cocktail was excellent, staff were attentive but not intrusive during the show, the venue looks stunning and the artist Naledi and band were absolutely world class. The only downside was the food: expensive for such a small, underwhelming size and taste. Otherwise great experience.
