Where do I start? What an awesome person to meet.. Marius you are the man..sharing your knowledge with me is such a kind thing to do..Very knowledgeable person. Defnitley knows his way around an opel. I was struggling with an issue for 4 years to date. I have been to countless mechanics with this issue and no1 could fix it. After long video calls late at night with Mister Opel, he talked me through everything, step by step and made sure I knew what I was doing. Car drives better than ever before.. I would not advise going here this owner want you to agree to price before looking for a part when you called him 10 min prior you will be there for a specific part you get there he refuse to show you the part without agreeing to a price of a brand new part lol i went to ottery used spares better service and they keep track of their parts also you dont have to agree to a price before buying the item

Let me give you some information about Mr opel, if you need a part they have it if you need assistance with an opel they give it if you want good price they deliver I'm super impressed by this group of very helpful people, and a big thanks again to Mr opel for helping me where no one else could, would definitely recommend them to any one driving an opel!

I needed a few parts for my bakkie and they were able to help me and with decent prices...I'll definitely go back to them for assistance in parts etc and I'll let friends etc know where to get help with there Opel s. Thanks again for the help.

I needed a part for my personal vehicle, a wiper arm mechanism to be exact these folks would not sell me a mechanism without a motor attached which they had in stock. Because the 1st unit they brought out the motor would not work when voltage was applied. The time they took to finally sort me out I could have done a basic service on any vehicle time wasters and inefficient is the name of the game with Mister Opel.I ended up paying R550 for a wiper mechanism with a motor I did not need, they have a lot to learn about customer relations, they have an unfriendly manner, I did not feel welcome.The only reason I bought the part here was because I drove from Diep River to Elsies River and was pressed for time, but I will have to be very desperate to purchase from them again.I am a 30 plus year Auto Mechanic and I rarely come across an unprofessional, unfriendly outfit with a take it or leave it attitude such as Mister Opel.So if you are used to quality service and great prices, give Mister Opel a wide Berth, the only reason I gave them a 1 star is the fact they actually had the part I needed.Wow the owner's response below just confirms my statement about customer services and 17th March 2021 is not a public holiday, maybe for Mr. Opel but not for the rest of South Africa, profanity just shows the character of a person, when a business owner takes criticism as badly as they do and not learn from it, it is sad, so my last word is a pity a zero star rating is not possible or even a minus zero, based on their response.

I wish I would put zero star if possible.l bought a second hand fan for Opel gamma bakkie , the customer drove for one day and the fan stopped working , took fan back they said1st) fan not marked they are not sure if it's theirs , after one of their guys said he doesn't remember if he marked it or not2nd excuse we don't take back electronic parts .Honestly a new fan goes for 1200 they charged me 800 for a fan that worked for one day .My advice to you- ALWAYS BUY NEW PARTS " its not worth the risk

I phoned them looking for a door lock for Corsa d and they said it was R650 I went there, they changed the price and said it was R1300, and gave excuse that they thought I was talking about the door handle. I then went to another scrapyard opposite to Alert in Good wood and got the door lock for R450. I would not suggest anyone going there, they overcharge their prices for old staff.
