If you are in Kruger, it's certainly worth a visit. It's more of an exhibit than a museum. It contained a lot of interesting info although the displays were dated.

You must plan properly your accommodation and time management as inside Kruger if you struck with the hope to search for some animals then if you waste your time then you might not able to return within Time and you need to pay the fine

*** All about the Elephant - Anatomy, behaviour, Skeletons, Historical, Tuskers and the future?I visited the Elephant Hall at Letaba Rest Camp on 14th March 2019. In front of the museum is the statue of a life size Elephant. There was no entry fee.The Letaba Elephant hall is dedicated to Elephants, more especially to Tuskers. By visiting the museum, I gained an insight into the evolution of the elephant, its historical development and deployment in various parts of Africa and Asia, related anatomy and biology together with its behavioural patterns and ecology of its environment. There is emphasis and explanation of further research currently undertaken together with appropriate management of the elephant population. The main hall adorns a complete skeleton of a majestic elephant. A complete preserved elephant heart is on display. There are many murals as well as many other captivating displays.I was fascinated by the majestic beauty of the seven sets of ivory together with the skulls of their owners on display. They are said to have belonged to the majestic tuskers that roamed Kruger National Park in yester years!Your stay or visit to Letaba would not be complete without a visit to this educational hall dedicated to this great animal and its continued sustainability so that our future generations too can see the majestic beauty of this great mammal !!
