Service from staff in the repair dept very poor. Vacuum cleaner in for 2 weeks for repairs. So far 6 calls from me. Promises of return calls with info. Not one call received. This compliant will no doubt receive the usual bot response. Which also shows the lack of interest in customer after the sale is done.

Been a loyal customer for many years. Unfortunately our latest experience has been atrocious.We were emailed a Gift Voucher. We phoned to verify its authenticity and were notified we could spend it in store.Wow, what a mistake.After spending the voucher and some in store. Weeks later we received a call notifying us that we never paid and we needed to please come in and pay.An error with issuing the voucher is the excuse.Weeks of back and forth later and we will be returning everything.

Bought a new Nutri Bullet on 17 Dec at Ballito Store. Opened on Christmas and found it faulty. Returned and have been waiting for three weeks for news on replacement. Service and support staff are disinterested and calls not returned. Paid for product which I do not have use off?

This review applies to Hirsch as a Brand - not specifically to Hirsch's Ballito.I purchased a Grundig induction hob from Hirsch's because the product matched the decor in the kitchen of our new home and we were told by Hirsch's that it was a good brand.After installing, it quickly became obvious that the product appeared to be faulty. With the exception of one pot, the hob would either stop cooking half way through (see photo) or the hob would lose one if not all the heating zones. We use those high quality induction pots from Le Creuset.It took months of nagging before a technician from Defy Appliances eventually paid a visit to try and sort out the problem. Quite shockingly, their technician Ndu, broke the glass corner off the hob while trying to investigate the problem. He lied about it to his boss Roger Govender, who then fobbed me off by stating that it was already chipped with Ndu arrived - quite simply a lie.A further month went by and still nothing was done. I had to escalate all the way to Margaret Hirsch's office to try and get any sort of action from Defy. Eventually the Sales Manager from Grundig got involved - and during a lengthy conversation he admitted to me that the product was just a poor design and that in fact Grundig were going to stop selling induction hobs altogether.So Grundig's position was that the Grundig induction hob was not faulty" - it was simpy an inferior product. Clearly it is not fit for sale to a consumer.I took this up with Margaret Hirsch's office who said they would not be prepared to refund me as the product was not faulty - just inferior. They acknowledged that the product did not work as expected and even apologised - but would not pass me a refund or store credit so that I could get a better brand. They also decided to take Defy's position that the technician had not chipped the corner of the unit and would not replace it on that basis either.I have been making large purchases for multiple homes from Hirsch's for the past 3 decades. My experience previously has been that they have in the past been an ethical company with fair business practice

This isn't the first time I've experienced poor service at your store...I held my cool this time despite the high level of annoyance I endured.I was in the market for a new airfryer... Contact your store and was put through to a salesman named Junaid.He asked me for the SKU no. of the product I wanted to confirm stock availability and I confirmed the price on the phone numerous times to ensure it was the right product.He told me that he has two in stock and that I must make my way to the store...When I drove all the way to your store from Stanger, I met with Junaid and he handed me the airfryer (absolutely wrong product).He then shy'd away and handed me over to another salesman who wouldn't stop speaking to someone whilst assisting" me... I left the store unnoticed and purchased another brand from another store despite the price being way higher... I found my treatment as a customer
