Woolworths Cape Town Airport

My wife and I visted the shop yesterday to buy coffees and were terribly disappointed in the neatness and cleanliness of the take away area. Is was terribly dirty and untidy. The service was good which makes the above unfortunate.

The scone here was good!

Convenient for sit down quick meals while in the airport and the phone charging ports are a great option

My daughter is an insulin diabetic. There was no zero drinks except coke which she cannot have. I walked to the Woolies after a long tiring trip from JHB airport to CT airport. I see the woolies doors closing and fully closed as I got there. I said to the security - gentleman name starts with S.....about my predicament. He compassionately let me in. I then was looking for a ZERO drink and a man noticed me think his name was Faheem or something to that. I told him. He saw that counters were relatively empty and proceeded whilst closing to run around the store then go to the back to get me a ZERO. WOOLWORTHS YOU SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF THESE TWO MEN. THEIR COMPASSION FOR MY SITUATION AND TO HELP LEFT ME SMILING THROUGHOUT MY HOLIDAY IN JHB. Since i returned home, I am writing this review as I am so grateful to have crossed paths with them. I had a problem with my diabetic daughter in JHB airport and I am standard bank cardholder and the standard bank lady at their lounges told me I cannot use their toilets even tho my delighter was desperate since I didnt have the right colour card - blue card and I didnt have a black card. Lack of Human decency and compassion is what stops us from being great and Human decency and compassion is what makes the world great. Thank you to that Woolies security and that Woolies shop assistant. Forever appreciative.

Great convenient, clean and fresh quality items, well stocked shop, excellent location just at the exit doors. I love this shop. Only thing I had an issue with was that music was a tad loud and the staff packing and other staff were talking so loudly to one another almost screaming which made me just want to get out there. Other than that I cannot fault this shop, absolutely magnificent.

This Woolworths is situated near the Arrivals at the airport and is very centrally situated to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. You can sit down at the counter to enjoy your coffee or take it away. They also have fresh flowers and the normal fresh veggies, fruit and high quality meat. I love their clothing department. There is also something exciting and new to buy.They also have a make up department where they can assist you with your make up. The store is wheelchair accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very quick sell on take away coffee.Very very very slow on delivering it.Clients also have to reach very far over counter to reach fixed card machine.

Good service in general. One or two issues. One they never have plastic or biodegradable bags for customers. So you are forced to buy those black material bags.Secondly queuing in the store is terrible. The layout and maze are terrible.
