Well organized book store, friendly and knowledgeable staff

Nice store but the staff could do a way better job. I didn’t receive any help from staff, the cashier did not greet me and wasn’t polite. Not a very good final point of sale moment! Not in the least bit friendly, very different to the rest of my experiences at the stores in Knysna.Second seasonal visit to the store today and not much has changed. I stood at the entrance wondering if I should sanitize my hands by myself and risk touching the spray bottle or just walk in since nobody was bothered. The dear staff members at the till point engaged in conversation, did not acknowledge my presence yet once I was in noticed two other customers being greeted when they walked into the store. I didn’t just walk in to browse which must have been the assumption since nobody assisted me for quite a while, whilst I walked around not being able to find what I needed. My expectations of these businesses are much higher since the recent economic decline and whether we’re dressed in blue, pink or green all customers should be treated the same.P.S we’re a family of readers and never shy to spend on books especially when they’re priced in south african rands ;)
