Leopard Walk Lodge

Lovely setting in the bush. Very exclusive. Rooms are really spacious and private. The dinner was absolutely amazing. It is a bit of a drive to get to the lodge but all in all a lovely stay.

What a stunning peaceful place to relax, honey moon cottage beautifully decorated with flowers, champagne and chocolates upon arrival, the staff are friendly and accommodating, thank you Zanele and Funathi. The wildlife is just at your doorstep. We will definitely be back.

Leopard Walk Lodge is a piece of heaven and sanctuary in Zululand. The perfect place to explore the very special and unique area of False Bay, and indeed Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve and St Lucia. The food and wine is excellent, the staff extremely friendly and the rooms spacious, well-designed and very luxurious surrounded by bush full of amazing birdlife and the passing nyala or duiker. An evening jacuzzi is highly recommended. Besides the exquisite accommodation and hospitality, what makes the lodge stand apart from others is the fact that is used to be a pineapple farm and has been lovingly restored and rehabilitated by the owners to be a safe haven for wildlife and many species found only in this area of the country. A wonderful story of a now flourishing nature reserve. Thank you Rob, Janet and Dale for a wonderful stay - I will definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at Leopard Walk Lodge. Beautiful place with amazing people. The lodge is located in a beautiful Sand Forest, the suites spread in the forest - very private and quiet, beautifully decorated and with a jacuzzi on the deck. The lodge offers a broad variety of activities and they organize every chosen activity for you. The staff is lovely and helpful, food is great and abundant. I would have loved to stay longer and will for sure book there again whenever I will be in the Hluhluwe region.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Safe environment and clean venue. Had a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

Very professionell, spontanous and friendly waitress! We unfortunately couldnt arrive for 8pm which is the normal check in time… it wasnt a problem we called the receiption and received directly the code to open the gate. The rooms are very comfortable and looked nice! The are is a private saved park. The breakfast is perfect! The only thing you need to know is that there is a 5km long gravel route to the Appartement but at daytime it shouldn‘t be a problem to find it.

Leopard Walk Lodge is a superb spot, within 40 minutes of the Memorial gate and 20 minutes from Hluhluwe town. It is situated within several hectares of fenced reserve with Zebras and an array of buck. There are trails through the park that are fun to explore on foot and the outdoor jacuzzis are a great way to relax afterwards.We have visited from England twice now, and have really enjoyed the ambience. The rooms are superbly presented, ours being glass on three of the four sides. The staff are very personable indeed - in a truly genuine way. The restaurant is a delight too.Dinners are a hot buffet format, but cooked and served with such passion that you cannot help but be delighted by the experience. Breakfasts are excellent too.This is a great place to relax, or to use as a gateway to the Hluhluwe reserve, as we do.Strongly recommended.

Leopard Walk Lodge is an absolute hidden gem!We stayed the weekend and there was absolutely nothing to complain about only compliment !The staff were so accommodating, welcoming and friendly, who went above and beyond for us.The chalet was situated in a private area with beautiful surroundings, the view is outstanding!The outside jacuzzi was so relaxing and gorgeous!Beautiful animals surrounding the lodge, such as wildebeest and friendly zebras who were interactive whilst we had dinner.The breakfast and dinners were delicious, really hearty food was provided !I got engaged to at this lodge and the staff helped with such a special set up, I wouldn’t have had it any where else . So thank you all for such a great experience. I DEFINITELY recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful stay !

This place is really a nice place to switch off and relax. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a few guests ( zebra, wildebeest) visiting us on our door step. Wonderful experience.
