I am saddened by how unprofessional the owner of this small business handles situations. I stopped going to Chantelee for my lashes, as the quality of her work deteriorated month after month. I stopped going to her due to the damage of my own lashes by her products and technique. I was referred by a friend to a lash artist that specializes in lash rehabilitation (Lux Lashes) Photos of the condition of my lashes are pinned on her Instagram page. I did not make a scene or ask for my money back, I merely walked away from her business in silence. A close friend of mine, who did not experience the damage to her lashes as I did at first, stayed with Chantelee. I decided to buy her a lash voucher from Chantelee for her wedding that is upcoming in October 2023. Chantelee apparently made an exception for me, as her terms and conditions states that a voucher expires after 3 months and is non refundable. This is apparently on her website, but was not disclosed to me at all. I paid R900 over to Chantelee for the voucher and the voucher was given to my friend upon her next appointment. Unfortunately, the same happened to my friend. With every lash appointment, her original lashes deteriorated. She however did not give up and tried to educate Chantelee with photos and research online. Unfortunately, nothing helped. She eventually made the decision to cancel all appointments and search for a new lash artists. The voucher was never used as she paid for all her appointments herself. After numerous messages to the owner (from my friend) requesting my money back for the voucher, I was handed over to her legal advisors" requesting that I speak to them an not to her an that the voucher will not be refunded. This shows me how unethical she is as a lash artist and as an owner of a business. I will advise every person reading this comment to not support this business. There are so many other lash artists that are passionate about customer service and providing quality work that need support. Livid is an understatement!"

What a disappointing journey!I have been one of Chantelee's most loyal customers for years until now. I am getting married in October 2023 and got a very special voucher from someone close to me for lashes for my wedding! The voucher was purchased September 2022 for October 2023 (which was made very clear upon purchasing). Chantelee happily agreed and accepted my friend's payment for the voucher intented for October 2023. Nothing about Ts&Cs was mentioned to my friend and IN NO WAY did she make it clear that Ts&Cs exist and what they are. Thus, my friend trusted Chantelee as she also previously did her lashes with her. Chantelee then printed out a voucher and gave it to me. Again, no Ts&Cs are mentioned on the gift voucher or were mentioned vocally.In December, I requested a whispy set instead of the lashes I've been doing with her for a while now. I tried to wait patiently until we got it right, as I felt comfortable with her and ideally wanted to make it work. However, after 5 months, numerous photos and Pinterest boards I created for her to show exactly what I want, she just couldn't get it right. I had to make the tough decision to move on and get myself a different lash artist, for my wedding. I sent a warm and respectful message to her, informing her about my decision and requested my wedding voucher back.She now refuses to give back my voucher as she argues:-Her bookkeeper isn't allowing her to do so.-She has Ts&Cs, not allowing the refund.-She also claims the voucher has now expired three times according to her Ts&Cs (Keep in mind, my friend purchased the voucher through her on WhatsApp, with her knowing it is for October 2023, ignoring her own Ts&Cs".)*NB: The South African consumer law states that any vouchers are valid for at least 3 years

Chantelee is an excellent therapist and is very professional. She knows what she is doing and how to make you feel relaxed and at ease.The facial I had was very relaxing and my skin felt so good and replenished afterwards.I can certainly recommend her for any skin treatment you might need. With her experience she knows exactly which facial will be suitable for your skin type. I’ve been at many beauty salons but this one is by far the best!

Chantelee is absolutely amazing and provides great professional service. My first experience was 5 star treatment. I have now been back a few times and every time I get 5 star service! I would highly recommend CJ Aesthetic to anyone who is looking for excellent service and very reasonable prices. I have been to a lot of salons in the past and none of them came close to what CJ Aesthetic has to offer! The chemical peels I have been for combined with the products I bought, cleared my skin up a lot quicker than anything I have tried before and I have tried everything there was to try. The waxing (in my opinion) is pain free, quick and very efficient. The manicure compared to others I had in the past lasted for longer than a month without chipping or lifting up. The owner of CJ Aesthetic truly has a passion for her work, has amazing people skills and makes one feel very comfortable. If you are looking for excellent results make your appointments today, I promise you definitely wouldn't regret it!
