Life Dalview Hospital

The doctor on Nightshift in Emergency on 08 April has no idea on how to work with patients. Shouting at an injured child, scaring it even more is not on. His attitude in general is not becoming of his profession. Give this place a miss if you need medical assistance.

Passionate nurses!!! It's great to see their love of their profession showing in how they go about their work. We found that you should drive past the first entrance and access the hospital via the second entrace/boom gate - ample and safe parking. We were at the maternity ward and the Dr's and Nurses were great. I must admit, it looks like the hospital needs some TLC - damp in one or two walls, and the maternity wards private room-bathrooms are possibly just old, but they dont look great - whether they just need a good scrub/pressure wash, or simply an overhaul...I'm not sure. That said, from the perspective of caring for you and your baby - 10/10

My daughter went there Tuesday morning before 6am, as she showed symptoms of a miscarriage.She was sent home shortly after arrival, and was told the dr will be happy to see you at 14.00".No empathy

Gave birth 16/04/2018, almost lost my life due to a nurse that scraped the afterbirth with a Amniotic hook and pushed the chuncks she scraped out from the afterbirth, back inside me(negligence, I was butchered), this is the same nurse that kept me in labour for 23hours when I was ready and dilated after 4hours. I lost alot of blood and had to go into theater for surgery at Life Dalview Hospital for 90min. Dr Venter was my surgin in theater and said there were cuts and tears (damages) and half the placenta inside me. Dr venter said he will defend me if I take the matter further, so I did. When we got to the board (Bobby Ramagwede), he did not defend me at all. Board said not me or my child died and also I didn't have R500 000 of damage. I had no case the board told me.

I had an amazing experience at this hospital when I was admitted to give birth 3 weeks ago. I just want to say I appreciate the way ALL the nurses were so patient with me as a first time mom. They were so friendly, loving and welcoming. From the moment I walked in the maternity ward I felt safe and at home because of the way I was welcomed. A very special thanks to sister Mapule for her amazing kindness. I also want to give a HUGE thank you to Dr Shabani for being thee best gynaecologist.

I have been at this place twice . Let me tell you about poor service delivery. I came here with my daughter super sick. I had to wait 4 hours for a doctor. 6 nurses in the room but not one to assist. I am currently sitting here now waiting for someone to come see my daughter , not one has attended to us or asked if we need assistance, pathetic, I tell you. I arrived 03:15 it is 04:30. The emergency section is super cold, and no one is at the duty station. The service is poor

I had a amazing aexperience at the maternity ward. All the nurses was so kind and helpful. The food was nice and all the docters were very kind and treated my newborn with the best care.
