Beautiful views but unfortunately didn't have such a pleasant experience, I didn't like how the waiters served whilst leaning right over me. One waited spilt sauce over my uncle and also whilst he was still eating the waiter came over to take his plate and you could see there was still food in it and he was still eating... The staff definitely needs better training with regards to being professional. The food wasn't great either and if you're vegan or have food allergies they don't cater for those. I really expected a lot more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Alluvia Restaurant this morning. The food was well-prepared and flavoursome, the service was good, and the attention to detail outstanding. The unsurpassed setting in nature, furthermore, added to our wonderful experience!A hidden gem in the Stellenbosch area? Certainly!

Great place for picnic had two bottles of wine food we received was not that great we ask the waiter to bring us plates and one plate was dirty told the waiter but he never returned with a new plate wanted to take pictures with my drone but was not allowed

What an unexpected gem discovered! Nestled at the foot of Simonsberg with magnificent views and superb service. Started with a full-bodied deep tissue massage at their spa, then a bottle of bubbles on their restaurant deck overlooking Simonsberg and the Helshoogte pass valley before moving to our picnic.We enjoyed a picnic next to their little dam which clearly has a well managed ecosystem as the reeds aren't overgrown and the water clear enough to see fish swimming 7-10m away just below the surface.The picnic (R300pp) was more than enough food for two people and included a bottle of their Rose, which was really good. You get driven to your picnic spot by golf cart, and regular visits to check if you need anything ensures you can order anything more you might need. We did, and their Sauvignon Blanc was even better!Really worthwhile, quiet peaceful and excellent service allowed an awesome picnic experience.I would advise to try be there early, as there are many picnic spots but it's first come first served and the one's with the best view of Simonsberg were taken first.

Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views of the mountains and vineyards. The food was packed full of flavour (from the pulled lamb to the tuna). As for for drinks, the wine and frozen cocktails went down very well. The service was also spot on (special thanks to Action).

A first visit to this lovely winery on the scenic Helshoogte Pass between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.The mountain and vineyard views from the spacious outdoor deck are breathtaking. With good food (the bacon, avo and feta pizza was yummy!) and wine and friendly service, you're in for a relaxed experience.I'm definitely returning to spend more time here, do a wine tasting to explore more of their wines and indulge in good food. Don't forget those jaw-dropping views!Bookings are recommended especially if you want to dine al fresco.
