Tucked away within the mountains, lies a quaint and rustic little camping spot. The pretty succulent gardens that surround each fire place, make for a cosy and serene setting under the starry sky. The host, Gareth was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely love to visit again!

What a magical place for an intimate, romantic get away with your bae". The tent is lovely and generously equipped with all you need. No electricity but solar lights and hot water are available(incl the shower) in the separate house in front of the tent . Perfect to forget about the rest of the world for a moment next to the fire under the magnificent star sky and the milky-way.Thank you again Gale!"

Wonderfull little campsite with as many stars as one can wish for. Equipped with everything one could need and two beautiful hosts who knows just how to welcome and spoil. Hoekwil is the new place to be and Starry Nights comes strongly recommended. Bring your own tent or pay a bit extra for the lekker beds in their tent-room.

Such a special campsite. Well thought out with the use of space. The outdoor basin with the mirror hanging in the tree was a great touch. Gareth was such a great host making you feel at home instantly!

Beautiful place and campsite to stay for the weekend or longer! The place is cosy and small which gives you a lot of privacy when you are camping. The owners are lovely people and if you ask they take you out for a walk in their forest with their 2 cute dogs. Probably one of the remaining indigenous forest of the region! The facilities are great, you have to turn of the hot water by a heater and you’ll have a warm shower. Garrett build the whole campsite by himself and has a lot of plans for the future so go to this place and support them! Price is very reasonable.

What a beautiful slice of hoekwil. The glampsite had everything we needed. Our host was kind and accomodating. It poured with rain and he made sure we were comfortable. It was such a pleasure to gaze out at the indigenous trees and plants and listen to the frogs sing.So much time and effort has been put into making this campsite. A work of art. Thank you

Gayle and her husband are amazing people and very helpful. My boyfriend and I got to the camp site quite late and we still needed to put up our tent. We did not have to say anything and they suggested that we can stay in their already made tent (glamping).Not only that. If you are into star gazing they definitely have the right spot!I 101% recommend Starry Nights to anyone that's want to travel to George or Wilderness area

Absolute gem. Worth every penny. Lovely hosts that are very welcoming and helped us out a lot. We had a lovely couples retreat in the permanent tent and enjoyed the tranquillity away from the busy resorts. You're in the bush and only hear animals and the wind. The facilities were great. All kitchenware needed and gas stoves. Firewood and lighters for a lovely bonfire. Camping chairs and tables were available in the lovely outdoor kitchen. Shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. It felt very luxurious for a camp site. I will definitely recommend it to campers with a tent or those who prefer high quality beds and fresh white linen and bedding.
