Making Waves Swim School

Very friendly ladies attending, nice warm and clean pool, secured parking, so thumbs up.

They were first great, then when I had to leave that's when the horror started... I got a new job and had to relocate, unfortunately it was towards the end of the year, a situation which was out of my control and I informed them as soon as I received the offer, to put in a notice that my child would not be returning to the school.. They did not first respond until I had to send them another email to remind them. And I was told I'm too late and need to pay for the two months. Which honestly I think is unfair, and now I'm told that my account is handed over to lawyers.. WORST SWIM SCHOOL EVER, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE TO LEAVE....

Amazing instructor's Cally and Tara went out of their way to help.

This is a bad place, bad is an understandable statement.They got a racial issue, they only give attention to white kids and they don't put them in a big group class like they do to black kids, they don't see any problem with grouping black kids in a 6 group of kids while whites are in a small group of 3 in a class.

We were very pleased with Making Waves. Darian and Tammy are excellent coaches, great with kids, and the school was able to accommodate us with our requests.

This place is a perfect fit for me, the staff always friendly and helpful. My teacher Jill patient and kind. I look forward to my swimming class every Tuesday morning. Will miss them when I have finished my lessons.

Worst experience i had..that time i had not even started with the classes..i was just enquiring..she told me i could start monday...told her to send me the bronchure...she never did by the way. When i went back to enquire she claimed she had sent me all the docs...2 weeks later still no response..the story now changes to we cant send u docs because there is no electricity..stories after stories as a cover up of not wanting to take us in..Horrible service..I now believe all the negative comments i saw

Disgusted by the service. Owner had the Audacity to tell me that going on social media about my sis-service will be an embarrassment on me. Well listen, I spent my money and time and invested in my daughter to learn unfortunately in the worst place in the east rand. Extremely poor communication and arrogance from staff and leader. There are places that treat our kids like family and that is the only thing I want my daughter.Your response is always Defensive, you are not willing to take accountability, you are arrogant, you think posting my email of registration in November will make others see you and Business differently? Well that’s their opinion but for me you are defensive, you are unwilling to learn or accommodate people, you like saying we accuse you falsely yet you do that to you own clients. I’m glad I left before my last encounter with you. You are not good at Business and I will join somewhere else, where a client is valued and respected, treated fairly, has integrity and reliable. YOU are none of the above

My experience at first was lovely. My son was signed up in January 2019 and we decided to cancel the lessons in March 2021 as he had continuous chest problems. I verbally communicated this to the swim instructor and the owner, I also told the owner. I emailed the swim school cancelling. They have now handed me over for two months' cancellation fees. This is unethical for services that were never rendered. The admin team is appalling.

Best swim school, dance school, modelling studio plus so much more. 10/10
