Got my first tattoo here and I'm extremely impressed with the results. Very friendly staff and overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Dale is a fantastic artist2023 update: just got my first piercing from Alex. Piercing was almost painless and all around great experience. Would recommend

I went to get my helix pierced today(21 Jan 2023)at Tattoo styles in menlyn. Both the tattoo artist and piercer were unfriendly and didn't look like they wanted to be there. I was told to pay first before being pierced. The piercer pierced my ear and cursed when she realised she didn't pierce the right size for the jewelry which i feel is totally unprofessional and i was immediately worried. She then had to repierce the same spot which was really painfull. She didn't disinfect before piercing and the whole experience was just a big no.I had my septum pierced a few years back by a different piercer who was way more professional.Not happy with the service at all.

Such a sweet shy woman that did my piercing always love my experience there, calm, relaxed, she was so gentle. Would recommend any day

i got a vertical labret piercing here today.first of all, she didn’t disinfect the area before piercing. the piercing is crooked because she put the jewellery in wrong. she was unfriendly and not welcoming at all. she did the piercing very slowly which made it extra painful. i’m unsatisfied and i expected better service. i do not recommend getting pierced here.

It is quite unfortunate to rate so low. However, it is with fair reason. The 3 staff members were incredibly unwelcoming. It seems that they don't want to be there. Me, my sister and my partner were incredibly friendly and tried to be chatty, and it felt like chatting to a wall.The tattoo station isn't up to standard with sanitation. It was honestly quite concerning. The tattoo artist was heavy-handed, but I guess that all artists tattoo differently.In the end, we got cute small tattoos, but I will not trust the shop with more complex pieces.I don't mean to talk bad, but I do believe that some changes need to be made.A+ for the music, however.

Got my septum piercing done here a couple of weeks ago and it's healing beautifully! The process was really quick and clean. The only gripe I have was that it was my first ever piercing and the staff didn't really explain anything to me which made me more nervous when they went ahead and did the piercing as quickly as they did. But technically, the process was smooth and clean and I'm enjoying an infection-free piercing weeks later!

Friends of mine got nose piercings done there, and the person who pierced them really just made mistake after mistake. She used the same gloves on both of my friends, hooked the needle with one and pierced it in the wrong place. Very unhygienic and unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend doing anything here.
