The building and area itself is very well kept. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful and offers are spacious pool area to unwind and relax. Service staff is really good, friendly and helpful. The WiFi is free, easy to access, available throughout the beautiful and very fast. We only deducted one point due to a loose toilet seat in our room.

I give this place 5 stars not because it has a great deck overlooking a great pool, which overlooks the estuary and it's sunset. I give this place 5 stars because the manager (I regret not catching his name) found my wallet that had fallen out of my pocket on the deck, locked it up in the safe and the next morning returned it to me with not a single card or cent missing. You made me proud to be a South African, on a romantic getaway, with my Colombian wife. Go forth and prosper guys.

It was a total disaster. We were told not to worry about loadshedding because they are equipt with generators. We arrived with a 2year old boy who could not go to sleep in the heat because they only ran the generator for 45min. Aftre questioning them about the matter we got a very rude response that they will sort the power out within 5 min which took them half an hour and only lasted for 40 min. We will never recommend this hotel to any of our friends or family. Thanks for a very bad experience

Very well kept hidden gem....Had a lovely stay...Staff was very helpful...Aircon and wifi worked 100%..try booking ground floor units..Much more accessible...(bit of a walk from car park to upstair units with only 1 entrance/exit)only had issues with loadshedding...But there was a rechargeable light in room..Breakfast was a bit monotonous..Very little catered for vegans...Will definitely be returning...Should consider putting in mini fridges in rooms or getting a ice making machine... Battled a few times to get ice from local stores because of demand due to humidity....Cape Vidal is a must for snorkeling...

The hotel is clean, mostly the staff is great. Shower floor needs srubbing, the ac is not very effective. A fridge in the room wil be great. The hotel is noisy at night. There was a confusion with the booking, but this was sorted.

Numerous rooms have direct access to garden with swimming pool, which is really nice. Beware of roaming hippos during nightfall.Breakfast is okay. The better choice for lunch or dinner would be visiting one of the restaurants at walking distance. The man at the front desk has been really nice.WiFi is best at the lobby. At the backend of the garden, dumped trash can be found...

1. When we got to the reception our booking was captured incorrectly on their system it said we only booked bed and breakfast not dinner, the lady who captured our booking had already left they called her she confirmed we have added dinner as well.2. Our dinner alone costed R300 and some change but no bevarage on that package, we weren't told about that to our surprise we Rudi said we can add drink their cans start from R25, he was not helpful we opted to have unhappy customers rather than fixing their fault. We ended up getting drinks at spar tops just around the corner where 1l coke was R13. 003. In the rooms there is no microwave, bar fridge and the air corn was not as effective as it should have been.4. Worse part no wifi, Rudi will manipulate you whilst you at the reception area and say it is connected as soon as you go upstairs no connection at all, I was in room 35.5. Even when we asked Rudi who is a manager to assist where were unsatisfied he said the hotel cannot spend on fixing the staff errors if it was to that then they will loose money, as a result they have lost me as a customer.6.it would have been fair if they offered us 1 can of drink and be honest about their wifi, not give us logins when you know it's not connecting.
