We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thutlwa Safari Lodge. Our guide, Deon, did a great job and the accommodation was first class. Nigel is still laughing about the mongoose that went up the leg of his jeans. It was one of the best moments of his holiday.

Wonderfully appointed lodge, with every amenity needed. Dian and Vickie were excellent hosts with the perfect light touch. Having staff to clean the kitchen/dirty dishes after our self-prepared meals made a big difference and contributed to the sense of being on holiday. Dian is a knowledge guide with a wry sense of humour. Despite being in close proximity to other lodges, Thutlwa felt very private and quiet. Definitely worth another visit.

The most amazing place with the best hosts. It is a must. Dian and Vickie make every day special and everything is so well organised. From the ready-made fire if you want to braai to the hot/cold face cloths after game drives to the beautifully kept rooms and amenities. Bravo.Steven and the three ladies make a great team.

What an incredible long weekend we had at Thutlwa! Between the hide, swimming pool and hot tub, all our children were entertained, leaving the adults to relax. The layout and considered space means that a large group of friends can share meals, but also have time to yourself. The highlight was the personalised twice daily game drives were we were able to range as far into the park as we liked, with sightings such as cheetah cubs. Managers Dian and his wife, Vickie held us in their care, treating our children with kindness and sharing their intimate knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend Thutlwa for your next holiday!
