Illovo Beach Club
We enjoyed our stay, the view is stunning, the unit and linen were clean, and they serviced the unit daily except for Sunday and public holidays. Some things I did notice that could be improved, no plugs next to the bed (this is a problem for people with sleep apnea machines, so bring an extension), unit does not have a dishwasher (Holiday Club units normally have this), no generator for backup power, this is apparently in the process of being connected. Overall we were satisfied.

We had an amazing week. Resort was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful. Friendly management and housekeeping staff, always with a smile on their face and just great to start off the day. Beautiful beach and the walk makes great exercising. Very relaxed and comfortable. Thank you Illovo Beach Club.

Everything is fine, but for someone who just came out of a one year long sick bed and a very sore back, the steps going up to the rooms are just too much. You have a great view of the sea, but you are quite far from the beach. Some of the guests are quite noisy by times, and it is definitely not senior citizen friendly.

Except for a lot of stairs which we weren't prepared for, the monkeys that you must be aware of and that there is no easy access to the beach, in fact we went to Scottburgh to swim. We absolutely loved it! It was quiet, great and friendly service, clean apartment, wonderful shower and the view! Oh the view made our holiday! In the early morning and late afternoon we sat on the balcony and watched the dolphins and whales play or just watched the ocean and relaxed. I will go again!

We had an amazing holiday, the apartment was clean, the view was amazing and the staff were exceptional.Special thanks to Raymond for being so accommodating and changing our unit upon request and spoiling our baby with treats for her birthday.

Our apartment were very clean and neat! Linen and bed so comfortable....slept lovely. Modern furniture and decor. Well equipped kitchen even though we went out most of the time. Pools looked great but because it was cool weather we unfortunately didn't swim.

Good service and the place was clean. Just note that you are not close to the beach. Beach is about 500m walk and the walk back is steep.

We had a wonderful time with my family, second time coming here and it still had me hopping around like a small kid. I would have loved a higher bed though like the first time, I couldn't see the ocean from the bed and the second bedroom had an awful smell. Overall everything was great
