A beautiful setting for the perfect soul rest...the cottages are well kitted out for self catering and a forest walk to top it all off. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

If you are searching for a break away from the stresses of big city life, Lemonwood is the place for you!Situated just off the Dargle/Impendle road, this little piece of heaven is just over an hours drive from Durban but you will feel like you are in another world altogether. The surrounding area is beautiful, an abundance of plants and trees and only the sound of birds to wake you up in the morning. The units are just in front of a natural forest where you can go for either short or long hikes then enjoy a dip in the stunning pool.Or you could simply sit on the deck and listen to the birds and absorb the natural beauty and peace that surrounds you.Accommodation consists of two four-sleeper cottages, one three-sleeper and a small little two-sleeper.We stayed in the four sleeper unit - Samango. This spacious unit offers a lovely big kitchen, fire-place, huge screen tv (not that you need one) and en-suite two bedrooms (one with a bath, the other with a shower). What is perhaps the most impressive feature however, is the availability of recycling bins for glass, plastic, paper and tins. This is the first place we've ever stayed at that has offered this, we usually have to cart all our recycling home with us. It is wonderful to know that there are people out there who care as much about this as we do.

Simply, a little heaven on earth. Tranquil, safe, cosy, clean. Nature all around, stunning views, and lovely sheep ( I am Welsh). Perfect place to write my book.My wife and I came to stay for a couple of weeks... stayed for a couple of months. Was the absolute highlight of Africa for us. Would love to go back one day.

We had a wedding in the area and booked and paid the deposit 2 months in advance. Unfortunately closer to the date the number of guest we'd be travelling with changed and we communicated with Katie timeously. A month before the date we opted to cancel our accommodation but Katie refused to refund the deposit. She claimed it's because she didn't have enough time to replace our booking with another. Personally I found this unreasonable as I feel this should not be my problem especially since we cancelled on time. After some back and forth regarding the deposit refund Katie claimed that giving refunds were not an industry policy and stopped all communication including ignoring of calls and further emails. I was shocked and appalled to see that Katie had been dishonest and practically robbed us as there are listed guest reviews in the month of November when she claimed that she could not find replacement bookings.

Stunning setting, lots of space for the kids to explore and run around. Beautiful walk with the kids in the nature reserve woods at the back of the garden.

We booked, confirmed and when we arrived there in the evening around 20h00 they didn't answer the phone and there was no one to welcome us, just vicious dogs and even when we hooted there was no response. Save yourself do NOT go here.
