Stunning place. Great vibes! Food was really good but not great. It was served a bit cold and some of it didn’t really feel like fine dining (especially for the price point).

We had their bottomless bubbles brunch on Sunday,which was a lovely experience.The food was prepared to perfection *a chefs kiss*.The service was on point,and ambiance was amazing.

Séjour means stay - we came for lunch today and stayed 4 hours in this unique restaurant.Many thanks to the whole team for a perfect stay. We felt welcome from the first moment!Great atmosphere, fantastic dishes and a great selection of drinks. After lunch we enjoyed some cocktails on the terrace.I am really looking forward to the next visit! Stay as you are!

Sejour is a stunning restaurant overlooking the Houghton golf course. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic date night. However the food was a bit underwhelming.The Seasonal Salad was supposed to have burrata in it (as listed on the restaurant week website), but it doesn’t come with it at the actual restaurant. This made the salad quite plain. The Crispy Calamari was nice but the curry sauce gets too much. Luckily we both got the different starters so we could share.The Chicken and Mushroom main was delicious. The breast was tender and the broth had a lovely flavour. The Grass Fed Sirloin was disappointing. The meat was quite tough and I wasn’t able to eat most of it. However the fries that came with it were amazing! Soft and mashy inside, but crispy on the outside. Paired with a divine black garlic mayo. The chimichurri sauce was also scrumptious.Dessert was a Chai Posset (nice flavour, but didn’t enjoy the saltiness from the pumpkin pieces), and Milk Stout (average cake pieces, but the ice cream was wow!).The service was great and the manager did come and chat to us about the tough steak issue, but I do think such a fancy restaurant should make sure their steak is up to scratch!

The place is very beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated.Our waiter Ramzy was very good and attentive.The food was really delicious. The portions were a perfect size.There was however a party using one of the private rooms that seemed to have hired a musician. They also sang loudly at some point and played very loud music such that the whole restaurant was loud, destroying the ambiance and making it difficult to conversate.

This has to be one of the most outstanding experiences for a meal I’ve had in JHB.The elegance and simplicity in this venue put it a class above the rest. The chef Freddie Dias’s food is our of this world and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the beef broth sauce with the steak and the Parmesan chips! I’ll be a frequent guest here going forward.

Visited Sejour for restaurant week. Lovely aesthetics, friendly staff. Enjoyed the starters, mains were overcooked while the desserts was rather pleasant
