The prices are very reasonable and the location great. But the admin is horrible! I have been here 2 or 3 times and my appointment booking was incorrect everytime, either they got the time wrong or missed an item or even worse...the booking was never made. WOAH. Sorry ladies but this can DEFINETLY be improved by keeping a simple calendar on your desk and appointing one person in charge of the bookings. Right?! I see that alot of people have been leaving reviews regarding this issue. Please try to work on this. You have so much potential and you are losing customers and letting potential loyal customers leave with a bad taste in their mouths . It's really not fun to wait an 1 to 2 hours for your appointment when you have booked in advance. This is highly unprofessional.

If I could give less than one star I would. Unfortunately, I wanted to use them after a recommendation and my experience was unpleasant . Our appointment was scheduled for 12pm and we waited for 45 minutes without any communication as to why our appointment was delayed. We kept being told that we would be assisted shortly. The staff the were unfriendly and didn't attend to us whatsoever. Safe to say I will not recommend them.

I was there on Saturday with my 2 sisters, mom and best friend, we ordered express manis, but later opted for gel… the service was terrible, we had an appointment booked for 12 and I was only seen at 12:50. They were overbooked and under staffed and they RUSHED to attend to other clients. The gel nails itself is terrible with the gel even painted on my cuticles, my friends/sisters wasn’t better either. I’d NEVER recommend them or ever go back there…

Went there today. Worst experience ever. Cheap price but bad customer service. The staff look elsewhere while doing your nails, they’re chewing gum as well, super unprofessional… they honestly look like they’d rather be somewhere else. Cheap price but bad experience, never again. The technician even forgot to add the clear polish I asked for when making the booking.

On the 29th Jan I did a full pedi and nail extensions, both with gel applications (which costed me around R700!). The gel on both my fingers and my toes started bubbling & peeling less than 2 days after it was done - bare in mind my pedi was done during loadshedding and I was told to come back because when I left the gel did not set properly (so they knew it would not last). I reached out via WhatsApp less than 2 days after and shared the images of how it looks - and requested if this can be fixed. Its been a week of back and forth on WA trying to secure a date and time, with me doing all the follow ups. Today (5th Feb) I was told to come in at 10am for the fix and I walked out 1.5hrs later (no different than when I walked in!). I sat there with no one helping me yet every one that came after me was seen to. Why tell me to come in at 10am when I am just expected to sit for almost 2 hours with no help around!? I am appalled with this level of service, plus having to walk around with horrid looking nails specially after the money I had spent! Unfortunately, this is NOT the first time this has happened, but I have given them the benefit of the doubt, even when people I know experienced the same things and decided not to go back - I still chose to support this business. But - Amore has just lost another customer, much like all the other reviews on here because I actually spent R700 for nothing! Now I have to dish out more money at a different nail salon to fix this mess Amore left me with! Either way - I am the one making the loss, while Amore banked my money a week ago!

Super friendly and helpful staff who always try to help even when you dont have an appointment.They are wheelchair friendly and their prices are very reasonable for the a quality look and feel.

Horrible just don’t go there, I wish I could have read the reviews before booking an appointment, I sent them pics of my nails no one has gotten back to me.

If I could I would say - 5 stars. My experience at Amore nails was definitely one of the worst ones I ever had.Firstly I had an appointment for two o'clock. The saloon was full and they only started with my nails an hour later. This said, they did not call me to a table, no, they helped me on the lazy boy where the customer usually waits or get their toe nails done.Before the lady started I showed her an image and she said yes she is able to do my nails like on the picture. She started and it felt like she was jabbing my cuticles. She filed my nails so much I started to worry if I would have any nails left.When she tried to do the glitter I knew this is going to be a mess. So after applying glitter on 3 nails I stopped her and said she must rather take of the two glitter nails, because she does not know what she is doing.When she did the top coat the lamb stopped working. She nearly used 4 different lambs to get my top coat hard.At that point I was boiling and I just wanted to get out of there.Please ladies I know it is cheap but it is not worth it. They do not know what they are doing and you will be disappointed.It is a big no from me.

Made an appointment and clearly advised that i only have my lunch time to do the nails. Got there on time and was told that i would have to wait 20minutes. Apprehensive in going there again. Wouldn't mind if they were punctual, as they seem nice and friendly but i am highly disappointed die to poor time management.

It was my first time at this studio. I had booked a facial wax, legs and armpit wax. The technician allocated to me did not say that she is inexperienced with facial waxes, until the very end, when we noticed that my skin had been ripped off at one spot that doesn't even have hair, I am not sure how she got wax there. When I got back home, I noticed a second spot on my eyelid, a really sensitive thin-skinned area.A less serious complaint is that she sent me away with traces of wax on my legs, she instructed me to shower and it would come off. No after care lotion, nothing.I am nursing two wounds that will form scars on my face thanks to Amore.Use the at your own risk.
