The Big Tree Holiday Lodge

Being around the tree feels like your party of history. The staff is vibrant, young and refreshing and fully informed. The facilities,such as the BBQ area however need to be improved of they wish for visitors to use these facilities, as they look worse for wear

It is a great place, staff is welcoming always available to assist and attend to visitors. My disappointment was not having electricity for two days, the place was hot and no aircon. You can't even open windows because of mosquitoes. Management need serious improvement of the place, it is a nice place to stay at but the nitygrities need to be arrested too. The shower floors must also be properly cleaned. Otherwise the rest is not bad but attend to the electricity issue, you can't charge full amount where people stay awake the whole night because of the discomfort, you can't charge your phone, you have food that need refrigerator. Management is a problem

A safe place to get rest, with no noise. The food is perfect, and the people also nice. To sum up, the service is good

There is a need to have a guide to tell people more about the significance of a Baobab tree. The information board needs to be replaced and the place needs proper management.I was a little disappointed, but if one finds a guide who knows about the Baobab tales, then they will enjoy the tour of the Bib tree

Frankly, it's a perfect place if you're taking somebody's person with. On a serious note, it's in a remote area, good if you're looking to disconnect (i.e. no network, AT ALL) . Starry sky at night whilst enjoying the gaze of the moon (full red moon on my experience) . The big tree is the main attraction, so you can enjoy sightseeing on that regard.

Awesome place. Clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. It is very clean with white linen. The food was amazing and the staff very helpful. The locals are some of the friendliest people I have ever met.

Peaceful place to be under the big baobab tree

The place is not well maintained. It doesn't have the vibe. They should consider landscaping around the tree and make a parking lot. The tree is interesting but the surrounding is not and it devalue the site visit.

Not clean, torn linen, drainage system damaged, it's a nice setup just needs a professional touch
