We entered and placed our order, I had to pay by another cashier who was on the phone and would not attended so we decided to take our seat. We get called back to pay by the cashier. We wait for close to an hour for our pizza, no plates places on our tablet or our drinks brought. We had to go back to the cashier to pick up our food. It was a terrible experience. Back door restaurant/take away. I went to their toilet facilties that smelt and looked like it has not been washed for months. Disgusting.The butter chicken pasta was also terrible.

By far the worst dinning experience!!!My family and I visited Caminettos Sparks Road in durban after pre ordering our meals and specifically explaining to the person who took our order that we were a family of 8 that will be sitting in and even asked to book a table which she said they dont do bookings, we can just come in. Upon arrival the staff as well as the managers were all on there cell phones, the place was empty except for a family of three that were about to leave. We sat down and a few minutes later our food was brought to us in plastic containers cold and dry.We ordered two chicken combos and two large pizzers. The pizzers was paper thin and cold despite us pre-ordering thick bases. We then called the manager who seem to not be interested in our complaints. He just told the waiter to heat the food and walked away never appear at our table for the rest of the night. We literally we eating our meals as incomplete meals because they were so slow in warming them. The service from the waiter was terrible. After spending almost R700 on the worst meal ever and having made to feel that my business was not valued, I will never set foot in that place again. And to add insult to injury, the toilets were filthy and smelled so bad. But that's expected as all staff there look like they pass their day being on their phones which is allowed by management. I would honestly like to get into contact with the owner of the business to let him know what an injustice his staff are doing to him and his business. I will not encourage people to visit this place.

I expected alot more....owners were very friendly, the cashiers and servers weren't unfriendly as per say- they just didn't seem like they knew where and when they were supposed to do what.We ordered coffee , appetizers, and the main course - in that order.....received everything one plate at a time all mixed up. Someone's main, someone else's appetizer, again Someone's main and so on....our coffee came last. Which was really wanted 1st.I won't go back.

The service is incredibly slow here. The food comes out of the kitchen randomly without any system. We've had to speak with the manager who isn't apologetic about the whole system being mismanaged by utter incompetence.

I will definitely never be ordering from here again. (Whatsapp order line has been deleted off my phone). I've been ordering Caminettos for the past 15 years, upon moving to Overport. The food in terms of its overall quality, portion size and flavor has decreased significantly.Last week I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta off the whatsapp line - it did not have that cheesy crust thing that it usually has, NO SALT, the smallest trace of garlic, basically no flavor.Believing that this was a once off occurrence I decided to order the prawn pasta last night off Mr D - WORST MISTAKE - I specifically asked for a bit of chillie to be added to my meal there was no trace, NO SALT its as if the sauce is made with water, thickening agent and food coloring, the smallest trace of garlic. Please do not generically respond to me saying I have the option to added extra garlic and chillie because I already asked for chillie yet nothing was added - How do you make a prawn pasta with minimum garlic??????I fully understand that prices have to increase in line with inflation however it would appear that this restaurant had to increase its prices and decrease its quality. Make it make sense.If you have gotten this far into my rant I highly suggest you order from a restaurant that values its quality and flavor in line with their prices.To name a few:- Col'Cacchio- Pizzaboys- Pizza hut- Jack Salmon- Spiga- Basically anywhere tastes better than this placeKind regardsA former Caminettos customer :)

Ordered over Ubereats as the pics look good on Google.Delivered within time however the portions were rather small. No condiments, forks or serviettes with the meal and this was for lunch.The creamy chicken chilli pasta had a decent portion of chicken and mushroom but lacked flavor and spice.

Prepare to wait a lifetime for your order. Even after requesting a pick up time I was told to wait 5 minutes countless times. Seems my order was only started when I arrived.

Good value for money pizzas and pastas. Tasty and you get exactly what you order. Friendly staff. Secure parking , clean toilets.
