We stopped here at an odd hour between lunch and dinner....not really normal eat in hours. We were the only customers at the time, but we welcomed very friendly by who seemed to be the owner. We just had coffee and sweet eats. It was absolutely fabulous. The place is probably packed in the normal eat in hours but we were very pleasently surprised by the warm and friendly reception. Great stop.

Excellent food - Michelle who works there very friendly. My favourite Riviersonderend place - my 'happy place'. Best lemon meringue pie ever. Great steaks, boerewors, best homemade marinade and wonderful jams. Definitely a must-stop for sit-down meals or purchases. Smoking and non-smoking areas!

We were there at a quiet time on a Monday morning. Service excellent and friendly. Food delicious and served nice and hot. Interesting selection of paintings and quilts decorating the inner dining area walls. Local organic honey available to buy on tap! Many thanks.

Best pies this side of the sun. Proper Mom ‘n Pop shop. Everything good about SA padkos. Look past the non-franchise, lack-of-glamour and enjoy the handmade chow. Please keep it up!

Always stop to and from Mossel Bay to Cape Town. Consistant good quality food at reasonable prices. Home made pies are great. Friendly and helpful staff. Well worth the visit

Found out the pies are not bake daily. Sold me 2 days old pie before. Won't go back there will have to go back up the street.
