An excellent buchary. Spotlessly clean and the service excellent. There is a wide variety of specially flavoured and prepared meats. One can also ask at the counter for a specific cut of meat. The owners are always visible and only to happy to assist a customer. Highly recommended.

I am a regular that comes weekly/monthly to Badenhorst Slaghuis for their sweet chili bacon stripes. Their meat is amazing and addictive. The service is amazing, the cashiers are always so friendly and sweet no matter how busy they are during rush hour. My favorite is the sweet lady that weighs the meat and makes small talk, her name is Cornelia, she definitely deserves a raise.

Very crouded. Display fridges had pork beef and lamb all mixed together. Very difficult shopping with the mass of people. Butchery no que just push to get served. Bought cabernossi was not impressed. Was still raw not dried out at all! Would get sick if we ate this!! Prices reasonable but was it worth it....
