KPA Student Accommodation

Very racists, only white communes are maintained the rest is not. We live in filth and broken down houses when we report we are mistreated and forced to pay for maintenance that is never done. Staying with them was the WORST decision ever. There are fungi and trees growing into my room and it leaks when it rains.

Very professionals, and have alot of different accommodations

The state of the kitchen at my commune is bad, I've have made numerous complaints about this but KPA has not done anything about it. It's been two months since their acknowledgement of my last complaint and said they'll do something about it, but it keeps getting worse.At the end of my contract, I submitted my keys and sent my banking details as required. A month passed without my deposit being sent to me. I visited their office on the 6th of February 2020 were I was told to send my details to a particular email address, I sent it less than 5 minutes after this. I was told to my deposit will be sent on the 14th of February 2020 and it was not paid. In the following week, I went to ask what was going on with my deposit and they did not give a proper explanation as to why it was not paid on the 14th as agreed. I had to wait at the office for 2 hours for them to process my payment. The deposit was finally paid but, without the interest that should have been paid, according to the Rental Housing Act. KPA does not operate according to the Rental Housing Act, STAY AWAY.

This company" does not deserve even a single star. They have complete disregard for the law and their tenants. Many people including myself have had their deposits held for months and keep getting told lies day after day. Do not associate yourself with this "company"."

KPA is an unethical business that is run like a fly-by-night. They have no accountability and respect for their customers. I was told I would receive my deposit in January already it is now close to May and no one is accounting for this delay. Instead they lie (big emphasis on the LYING part) and give excuses instead of running their business ethically and accordingly. The staff is very rude (particularly the lady working in the finance department), and they overcharge on their monthly statements.If you value your peace of mind, please find other accommodation. I promise there are tons better in Bloem than this one.

The worst ! They don't care about the safety or well being of the students .The rent is far more than what we agreed on . We are constantly being charged for small things . And the service is just bad . If you are looking for accomodation for your child or yourself . Please do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else .

KPA doesn't even deserve a single star, I regret ever choosing to stay at this place. It's my first year in their accomodation, it haven't even been 6 months staying here and already I'm not happy with their service. I have been complaining about the lights but they still haven't fixed them. It's been 2 month since I complained and there's still nothing. They are too quick to fine us for something we didn't do but too slow to attend to our requests.

Everything is one star and I still haven't received my deposit money and bare in mind I left at the start of year. I genuinely think the University of Free State must really look into their criteria for which private accommodations are accredited by, basically they hand us over to a company that stands completely against what Nsfas, state funds, stand for and the fact that any of their houses get accredited EVERY year baffles me shame.

I have been staying at KPA student accommodation for 2 years and at the end of my lease, I requested my deposit back. I was informed it would be processed in February. It’s almost the end of April and I still haven’t received my deposit and they keep giving excuses. However when you don’t pay rent in time they go to an extent of cutting off your electricity or water.The worst student accommodation agency
