Have had good results after 6 months under her care and treatment. Hair growth is improving and bald spot is visibly reducing.

I highly recommend Dr. York - without her I would be hairless. Quite literally, I had severe alopecia areata and she has been the only dermatologist who has been able to assist me. I went from having very little hair (head, brows and a few lashes) to now- an almost complete head of hair, and a full set of lengthy lashes and thick brows. I could not recommend her more!

Dr York is not only a thorough, caring and highly qualified doctor but she is kind, patient and excellent at explaining complicated jargon in a manner that is respectful and easy to understand. She is meticulous in covering all possible options for treatment in a cost effective way; she leaves no stone unturned. She is wonderful with both adults and children alike and I cannot recommend her more highly.

I started the hair loss treatment as prescribed by Dr York approx 7 months ago. I have definitely had noticeable hair regrowth (my friends and family have commented on this multiple occasions, especially those that do not see me daily). I have also not suffered from any side effects of the prescribed medication.

For over ten years I suffered from nodules that would appear rapidly and randomly on my legs and left bad marks behind. They were diagnosed as erythema nodosum. Cause and treatment were hard to find. It was only after I met her that I got a relief. It is over a year since I last had an erruption.

After surviving COVID-19 it was about 2 months before my hair started falling out leaving extremely thin hair and bald patches. I didn't have much hope at all until I met Dr York. Growing hair takes time and in 6 months I could see a noticeable difference. Another 6 months even more! My hair regrowing and being thicker than it has been in decades really helped with my confidence. I can not recommend her more highly. Not only is she fantastic at what she does but she is also kind and gentle when working with sensitive issues. I am so grateful that we have access to her here in the Eastern Cape.
