Born Diving

The knowledge and practical you learn with these guys is unbelievable. At the start of the course I was only able to hold my breath for roughly 1min30secs. By the end of the course I completed a 2min30sec static breath hold.This would not of been possible without the guidance we were given. We were given practical games that increased my comfortability under water, and getting into the ocean after the course I could feel that I was way more relaxed and could stay under for longer (whilst also making sure that we are diving safely).Overall I’d say if you want to improve your safety, technique and calmness this is the only place to go for it!

Kobus was very attentive, explained everything well. He even did additional training when we were underwater. Super cool. Nice guy I would recommend him to anyone.

Loved it! Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first as I am not very fond of water. But Kobus from Born Diving eased me into it, patiently taught me the basics, and before I knew it I was breathing under the water! Such an exhilarating experience!

If you are looking for a scuba diving - no matter if you are trained or totaly new in this field - Kobus is the guy you want to get initiated with. I was afraid of drowning for as long as I can think of myself for my whole life - but this guy just made me like not even thinking of it for even one second. He is a professional one - easy and profound and a stunningly intuitive teacher and personality. Dear Kobus - you have opened a door to me into a whole new world of floating and beauty! Can't wait to return to South Africa - Western Cape - to go deeper into this and hopefully - have an ocean license soon. Keep on doing a great job! All the best. Boris

Been doing kayak fishing on the ocean for more than a decade I've had some amazing experiences above the surface and only recently join Kobus to a first in a lifetime experience underneath the ocean surface. What an awesome world of living creatures carrying on at their own pace below the surface, amazing! Kobus made me feel comfortable and in safe hands from the moment I first touch the diving gear right through the diving experience up until being back on dry land again. Cannot wait for the next dive! Definitely recommended!

My wife and I had an awesome time exploring the waters of Cape Town with Born Diving and are looking forward to further excursion when we return. We always felt safe, respected and were shown some beautiful sites. Thank you so much for accommodating our tight schedule!
