Van Zyl Butcher & Bakery Griekwastad

Not what we had with Fabber (the first owner). The Van Zyl's literally bankrupt this wonderful historical Butchery that was in the hearts of so many of the Griekwastad people. There is no variety of meat to choose from, you basically have to take what you get. They have gotten rid of most of the staff to profit more. They also close at 1pm and open when it suits them, with Fabber there was no such nonsense. The prices are insane and the quality of biltong are not very fresh. There's always a shortage of bread or sometimes no bread at all. They can close this Butchery as far as I'm concerned. I should have given it NO STARS at all but Google won't let me. We miss Fabber....

Very friendlh staff and butcher..Always willing to lend a hand when in search of spice or specific cuts
