Sportsmans Warehouse

The Sportsmans warehouse in the Checkers Centre in Sea point is a great place to quickly get your sporting needs. They have a swimming section and an athletic section. They also sell mattresses for camping and a bunch of great gadgets. The staff are friendly but some of them are unaware about the products that are sold.

I went to buy a pair of running shoes and I was assisted by Nwabisa and she was very professional and patient. She explained the process of testing for the correct shoe and took me through everything.The store was short staffed but at no point did I feel neglected.I haven't had that level of service in a while, she's excellent

Some stock not available but staff were very helpful calling other branches to locate the items for us. They also put aside our second choice if we changed our mind about driving to another store. Generally the store has better stock than the waterfront branch. Bigger with greater variety of goods.

I have just had the most incredible service from young gentleman by the name of Bradley Erasmus.Goodness...how the world should work!! Fast, efficient..on it!! Thank you so much.

Been to the stores in Waterfront and Sea Point on several occasions for various things. Walked out every time as the service is NON EXISTENT. Who ever trains the staff in the retail industry gets a zero. No staff visible and they walk away from you when you approach them. They never acknowledge you and are always so focused on their clipboards I could walk around naked and they still wouldn't notice. They have time to chat to their friends ,but not the customers. Needless to say I did not spent a cent on any of my visits,but instead purchased from other stores. I thought Game stores had poor service,but I stand to be corrected .

I am generally quite happy with this store however I have just tried the bicycle service and got disappointed. They said general maintenance including chain replacement will take around 30 mins and i have arrived after 3hrs to pick my bicycle up. They just left it on the hanger by itself after taking off the tires and old chain then worked on other duties during all that time. I had to talk to the manager and leave the bike there. I appreciate that he had the service done and brought the bike to my place after work. When I have got the bike tho, both tire pressure was lower than they supposed to be and front brakes were not working at all. I had to fix the front brakes and now I will need to pump the tires. You can try yourself and might have a different experience but I definitely can’t recommend.

SW in Tygervalley had had the items i needed in store due to the demand and we called Sea Point to confirm stock which was kept one side for me by Stephen. Rocked up there and hour later and was given the items with great courtesy and knowledge of the product with a few tips included. Walked around a neat store and was eventually assisted at the Cashiers desk by Whitney Jacobs who was very friendly and courteous as well. Very happy about my first experience at this store. i wouldn't think twice to visit again.

When we arrived, we were welcomed with by a lovely lady at the entrance who sanitized us. We went for 2 specific items and were assisted by a very friendly assistant. The down side was that they didnt accept cash for some reason which I dont know why.Otherwise a good experience
