SUPERSPAR Queensmead

The teller(an Indian lady) that served me was absolutely fantastic and the lady that packed my goods(a white lady) were simply awesome. I don't know their names but they did you proud. Their work ethics is top notch. You are blessed to have them workingfor you. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

This supermarket's potential seems to be hampered by poor management. As the nearest supermarket for many members of the Umbilo community, this supermarket should be stocked in such a way that most of the needs of households are covered.There is just not enough variety in their items. Many items are often out of stock, particularly post July unrest, and no consideration for basic repair items which households need is made.For example, knowing that there's no hardware at the mall, there's no reason why Queensmead Spar doesn't have a proper hardware isle with basic hand tools, oils, screws, etc.Queensmead Spar should be positioned in such a way that it removes the need to go to Southway Checkers, Davenport Checkers or Glenwood Village Spar for residents who reside in Umbilo..Lastly, more consideration must be made for security at the centre, and as the primary tenant, Spar's management should be spearheading efforts to rid Queensmead Mall of vagrants, beggars, public drinking and the sale of narcotics.

Your place is lovely but only the vagrants is YOUR biggest problem for us and that is why most people are afraid to shop there because of them. For you to get the place better and family friendly please get rid of the rubbish.

Lovely centre. The Spar us well stocked. The Queensmead Video Shop and Internet Cafe I absolutely loved. Great spot for all your printing needs too!

Most of the shelves were empty. However I did find what I wanted. Prices are ridiculously high. There appear to be a serious problem with this Spar. Don't management and owners know how to run a supermarket. If not give it up you are causing Spar serious damage to the brand. Shame on you.

It's classy, and what I like more is that it's clean and the service is great. Dnt mind the 4 stars, I just don't like giving 5 stars, but it is indeed a 5 star, highly recommended....
