Complete - IT

I was told that my laptop repairs would be quoted within 24-48hrs, 4 days after I dropped my laptop at Complete IT I received no quote, when I called to find out about any progress I was told that I would be emailed that evening with a quote, i didnt receive a quote, the following week Wednesday I had been given a quote saying that they couldn't find a spare screen for my laptop. I'm curious as to why it had taken 7 working days to just get a quote, this is extremely unprofessional, The day I picked up my laptop i took it to Tido Tech in Millerton and within 5 mins Ryan found a spare screen on the HP portal and had given me a quote. From my experience I dont recommend Complete IT, (If they were reluctant to give a free quote they should just ask for a fee or a fee to prioritize quote?, don't waste people's time.)Thank you

Update: No refund was ever offered. I ended up getting a genuine replacement part while in Germany for R800 and swapped the part out there.The part that was sold is a 3rd party created part and not a genuine Dell spare, which they purchased through a 3rd party supplier.They also tried to claim that there's no warranty on parts sold despite the consumer protection act requiring 6 months.I specifically requested just the part, as my laptop is design for self repair, they agreed to sell me the part as is, section 56(2) of the CPA has a 6 month implied warranty on good supplied to a customer.Original: Selling refurbished, third party parts as brand new OEM parts.Paid R4500 for a new xps 9510 palm assembly and got a refurbished 9500 assembly (there was a revision between them to address the TouchPad)The finger print reader board arrived detached from the frame, the ribbon cable clasp was missing, the touch pad was loose with almost 5mm of travel before a click registersEven the main board for the keyboard was detached from the frame despite this unit only being sold as a whole unit.This is due to the actual keyboard & assembly being a 3rd party cheap part with a scavenged fingerprint & TouchPad installed in it

I have toshiba satelite intel corei7 that keeps showing blue screen and my chrome often shows the Oh swap! Error, sometimes it closes on its own or refuses to open. Can you help me with these issues and how much?

This company is very good indeed and 100% trustworthy. I have delt with them for several years and have always been completely satisfied. On two occasions I have had to ask them for damage reports for my insurance, once for a dropped laptop, and the most recent for a very expensive (R30K+) machine that overheated. On both occasions the insurance companies paid out immediately without a quibble. CIT has impeccable credibility.

Wow....just wow! I have always been given fast, efficient service at Complete IT. However, this time they have outdone themselves. After booking in my laptop and due to a miscommunication (on both sides) it was not configured as I had wanted it. After mentioning the urgency to Shaun he gladly assisted and within an hour he resolved the issue and got my laptop back to me - quicker than it took me to have a cup of coffee and my car washed!! Cannot recommend them enough!

Perfect and efficient service from Sean. I telephonically discussed the issue and was asked to bring laptop in and was back at home within an hour with the problem resolved. Paid extra service fee to have laptop prioritised to be worked on, but I was advised about this before the time, so I was well informed.Very much worth the service. Thank you
